New balance idea

Pistol is not op, combi thow if anything need a little nerf. I won a game agaisnt a premade pc ft by killing two of them with one spear throw, of course it was a lucky double headshot. All the one shot mechanics are unskilled.

But no gonna lie the dpm(damage per minšŸ˜‰) is a lot higher on the fireteam side in a game than pred pred could sit in trees and shoot ranged and do barley any damage against a well moving and cordinated team wile the ft will be sniping the fucc outta him lol

I believe it all has to do with the sound quality of the headsets that players have. If the ft is able to sound whore the game the pred becomes easy to track. And man you did awesome that game dont sell
Yourself short like that. The disc also has enough health. It takes 8 shots from the 1st shotgun to break it so idk what the op is on about. Plus bio mask has a high health pool with the right perks. I run protection and I even when I play pc ft I dont lose my mask. The pc players usually quit if they cant get the mask off in the 1st couple of hits. Its pretty funny in my opinion. They are like dam this player can play might as well leave instead of trying

Spear throw is the only escape against a good team so I think itā€™s fine but unless the teams really good I think itā€™s a massive crutch on a shitty pred

Yea I donā€™t know if I downed your sweaty ass recon team mate lmaoaooa but I only hit once the whole game with my disc skills goddamit lol

If they will make the bow , pistol and smart disc better you wonā€™t need any more this OP option of the spear throw. Even if you hit on the leg , one wrist blade and itā€™s a down. And you will never parry the first wrist blade melee attack is unpredictable obv.

Yeah. Most shitty preds will get parried once and try to throw the spear every time and they miss all throws. Cause it takes them too long to aim and throw it

Right now , yes, I agree, is the only chance agaisnt op teams. But it should not be I meant.

What you just said there takes quite a bit of skill (2 people headshot). Combi also has 1 shoot and you need to go to its location to collect. Not going to go into if it needs or not a nerf BUT just wait until you find a good predator that knows how to use the pistol, noting more busted then that.

Lol sorry we were sweaty. Lol yeah recons are a little to meta

Yeah the pistol is busted. It needs a slightly brighter flash when its shot

They should

  1. Make it projectile for bulets
  2. Do body damage ex
Hits on legs will create a very very slight slowed effect in movement any damage on arms should decrease hip fire accuracy but these do minimal damage and body and head shots do the normal damage ( spear throw 120)

I have played multiple times agaisnt very good pistol players. It has not enough damage. In order to balance it I will say: more time to reload for preventing the spamming but more damage on the body shot fron middle range.

Not that body damage matters but itā€™ll be more realistic and give pred an edge

But we all must keep in mind itā€™s an asemettrical
Meaning if 1 side slips up slightly (looses 1 member letā€™s say) the balance tips in favor of pred more the more damage you take the more advantage the pred has over time his main goal is to

Stall you and make you waist ammo
Damage you over time making you waist sarretes ect

And eventually the team will have no chance even with their current Dps so itā€™s slightly balanced not entirely but thatā€™s the point of an assemtrical and thatā€™s how itā€™s supposed to be one side is always greater than the other and in this case the stronger side to begin with is sadly fireteam lol

From what perspective? PC pred? PS pred?? 4 man premade? Randoms?

I think I prefer what richterbryan said and give it a brighter flash when its shoot. Thatā€™s the problem, locating from where he is shooting before he reposition.

Iā€™m talking about Pc preds. Yes locating is super hard. It should be harder to find a Bow shooter compare to a pistol plasma shooter šŸ˜‚. But talking about the damage I think these two options can work well.

One shot is a straight no, unless we are talking a sweaty option in quickplay that differs from the average joe quickplay, they would loose tons of players if they implement something this competitive in a quickplay rage quitters would have a field day, I would like some stiffer competition at times for the adrenaline rush feel but not all the time

This idea is for a new game mode dedicated towards realism, a hard core mode if you will. Massive damage buffs to both ft and predator, with stealth buffs to the predator also. This is intended to be a competitive hard core mode that allows you to play both ft and predator with their natural realistic feel. The predator canā€™t sustain much damage from explosives or firearms, the knife does little to help in this mode, but any predator in view could be dead in seconds. The fireteam members could also die in seconds if they donā€™t work together as a team.

It would be a nice alternative ā€œveteranā€ type mode. One glaring problem though: 2 shots to kill a berserker with snipers at any range is way too strong even for such a mode. Incomparably so even with the 1 shot fully charged pc taken into account.
I mean imagine 4 or even 3 decent FT players runnin a sniper loadoutā€¦impossible to win for pred, even with the added stealth options. They will spot you and hit you while leaping no matter what.
3-4 shot kill a zerker would be the best option probably, OR 2 shot kill only at a certain distance (bullet drop / ballistics would be the best to balance the game as we all know)

The way it works is both predator and ft members can cause massive damage to each other. The predator needs to keep on the move or be mowed down by the buffed outnumbering fire team. To help the predator against them we remove the bells attached to him that give his position away. No loud thud when he runs, no clicking when in proximity of the fire team, No weapon glow from ranged attacks. Giving the predator a chance to rely on his stealth to sneak a few shots in.
