Yes, cooking the grenades means holding the button until it releases on its own. Sometimes you’ll want to release earlier, it depends on the distance between you and the Pred. And the parry system is pretty whack, but yes, you want to do it when it prompts you. What sucks is some weapon attacks are unparriable, and some are so fast that your response time needs to be on point or you’ll miss it.

I unfortunately still dont cook my grenades because i suck :’(
This game is very generous with cooking grenades. Unlike other games where if you hold it for too long it blows up in your hand, this game if you hold it too long it will automatically throw it and blow up in the closest possible safe distance without causing self harm.

I’m always happy to teach new blood. Currently grooming a PC player but he hasn’t been feeling good as of late. So if our new fren needs a trainer…

Oh I know, anytime I pop back in here I get all kinds of shit ass trash talking. I run into four meta heads running Dantes and Dutch 87s and they get swamped despite exploiting Fanatic and then get salty. Never fails, dude.

Mics are not necessary
All you need to know to win as FT is
Stick together
Watch/protect each other
Stick to the mission
Disable alarms
Use the spotting mechanic
And lastly you must fight the predator if it shows up and attacks you

Wrong, its just how you use it. Don’t go saying stupid shit, don’t play music, and use it only to relay information to your team. Its even better if you’re in a party, then you can talk freely and the Pred won’t hear anything.

How is it you can both, stick to the mission and must fight the pred? Only works if you’re on a team and using mics.
