True. However there was a beta for Xbox so I’m sure you can find some gameplay for the Xbox One though it might be a bit hard to find as they’ve been taken them down.
New player. Needing tips for the game
But all the PC and next gen footage is still up
I’m not falling for it again
Hey @Dannyboi and welcome to the Jungle! I’m a bit new still, played for a good few months, but for a taste of your whiskey, I’ll give some advice. I play both FT and Pred, but I’ll give you some Pred advice since I don’t want to repeat what others have said before.
- Stay your distance. As a Yautja, you may think that you are an invincible god, but you are not. You are very easy to kill, the FT can melt you in seconds. Play safe from a distance. Ranged is the way to go.
- Use good perks. Medic, Large Pouch, Down Range/Fearless are all tried and true combinations.
- Always pack your med kits!
- Use good specializations. Damage perks (Analytic, Stalker, etc.) are all good perks.
- Use good classes. Berserker is tied for worst class. Don’t use them unless you’re going against potatoes. Instead, I’d recommend Hunter, City Hunter, Elder, or Cleopatra. Those are all strong classes. If using Cleopatra, use Adrenal Boost on her, she gets tired easily.
- Use good weapons. Bow, Handheld Plasma Caster, Smart Disc, Combi-stick are all good weapons. I recommend using at least one ranged primary weapon on your Pred.
That’s all I could think of at the moment, see you on the Hunting Grounds.
What I meant by Deadly being the ONLY specialisation for Assault was that it was the best choice. Rey highlighted the pro’s of the other choices, and it’s personal choice as to what you want to choose. Most people will go with Deadly, and for me it’s the only choice when running Assault.
Most definitely this!! Headphones are a must. You’ll quickly learn to distinguish the sounds Predator makes as well as get a sense of it’s direction, distance and even elevation. There are team mates of mine that can pinpoint a Preds position to the exact branch of the tree it’s hiding on just from the sound of it’s clicking because of their headphones. So you really want to be using headphones when playing.
I say this bc I love this game; pls turn back. This is a dumpster fire. This game is a wreck and doesn’t deserve any attention till they fix this thing…ans even then that’s me feeling nicer about this game today.
Shit on kids w/o mic
Lmao
Just a couple more hints/tips;
Running with your knife instead of weapon is faster
When you reach half stamina while running, press crouch to slide and your stamina will refill without losing too much ground. Rinse, repeat.
Two bots are light years better than two potatoes.
I’d argue that just one bot is better than two potatoes, they’re surprisingly efficient and useful for bots.
Bots are easy to kill with the Disc but never try to melee someone when a bot is next to him. The Bot will put you into second Wind in seconds
Even if you just go in for a Bow-Wristblade combo on one guy and you don’t realise either someone left and now there’s a Bot or there is just a Bot following this one guy the whole time and the Bot will completely annihilate you
Beware the furry aka Fire. He will lure you in and convert you.
That is the best advice James Cameron can give you.
Thanks again everyone for the tips. I have been playing in private matches on my own to get the hang of cooking grenades etc.
All of the advice given has helped. The YouTube videos linked have also helped.
Thank you. Tbh I was nearly going to give up until I came across Voodoo1stLady in the jungle. She gave me some great advice and also told me to get help from other players on here, FB, Discord, Twitch and YouTube etc as there are great players with great advice. Everyone has been very helpful.
Thank you for the Pred advice.
Do you think it would be best for me to keep playing the tutorial until I get the hang of it, then move to private matches before going straight into the jungle?
Hello, thank you so much for the advice! You stopped me from giving up on the game. Everyone has been so nice and given lots of very good advice. Honestly thank you so much! I hope to see you in the jungle again sometime.
You’re the sheep fucker not me.
How to win as FT? Hide under a rock like fantasma used to do, make sure you use support bring ammo and med packs…there 100% win rate!
Or that one building on Backwater, in the satellite dish camp. Had THREE Support field medics squat in there with med bags and PDLs last night. That was a shit match, I had to use every cheap ass dirty trick I could to win.
