While I do agree things like marksmanship are going to be important, you should remember a lot of Americans have been practicing marksmanship from a very young age. I was 8 when I started shooting guns.

However the claim that Russia has technologically surpassed the US is blatantly false. If they had, the war in Ukraine would already be over. NASA will launch pretty much everyone’s but primarily get their rockets from an Ohio based company.

Hmm, so according to your braindead logic, if USA is technologically stronger than Russia, they would have won in Afghanistan long ago and Vietnam, despite USA lost like a bitch and fled and in Afghanistan they left all of their equipment to goat herders? NASA majorly has Russia as it’s import. Almost 90% of the rockets and jet fuels comes from Russia. They depend on Russia more than USA.

Well I was thinking more so in terms of hunters. They’ve got the experience in the field and it would be very easy to outfit a group of large game hunters as snipers.

It’s high in field and shooting range both. But since now there are rockets, infantry and tanks are turning into bow and arrow. They are no longer relevant for modern warfare.

There are I think. Look at Russia constantly drafting men. Barricades are still real. Plus, you dont want to destroy the area to plan to conquer. Then you have to rebuild

There are as cleanup crew. Ukraine is also constantly drafting men, in fact Russia doesn’t need so much men as Ukraine, Ukraine picks it’s own children and women and now NATO is forcing all immigrants from Ukraine to be deported back to Ukraine. Since they lost all of their men.
