This is why I don’t have high expectations for Prey, The Predator franchise needs to be put to bed, they have run out of ideas for it because any idea you can think of probably already has a comic book about it. In my opinion what they should have done for Predator 5 is the Jim Hopper story, It would be nice to see a predator win for once, but I can’t see them doing that because humans have to feel on top in this type of movie.

Film has been confirmed to be set in 1719.
edit: regarding 1719 as the setting, spring/early summer 1719 was the first large Comanche raid on Spanish colonies. The Spanish then gathered an army of their own soldiers and native allies to launch a retaliatory raid on the Comanche in the late summer/fall, which never found the Comanche tribes.
Historically that was because they were probably raiding further north at the time, but it would be neat if the movie explained it as basically they didn’t find anyone because the Predator had fucked up the tribe that raided the Spanish colonies

No. If its in an official trailer released by the studio, its not a “spoiler”. People who cry about spoilers from official sources need to be quiet and sit down. If its a leak, that’s one thing, but when the studio releases it, then its done on purpose. Here, enjoy some mandibles.
