I wonder how the fight would go. Pred does have any gear except for PC. I figure it might be a few PC shots that would cause the team to mobilize, but eventually i think they would separate and be picked off one by one or in pairs. Cloak would still be effective and could be used to swing around a tree like when Poncho was killed and then Dutch’s rifle was blasted.

Too much of a Terminator vibe, lol. Although it’s not DNA per day (probably a combination of nature and nurture), i guess you can go out on the limb and say that a fighting tradition could run in a family for generations and the DNA adds to skill level that can be reached.

That could work, but you can get creative with these kinds of things.
We don’t know when the OG predator arrived.
Maybe he had more gear and weapons, but they were used or broken during the fight with hopper.
Maybe the predator had more time to hunt his team.
The possibilities are very open if you get imaginative enough.

Definitely! DNA is just DNA really some prevent others from going the way of obese or loosing their eye sight. Its just a matter of health being super good, but a yautja would just select one persons lineage for more traditional reasons maybe? but still kind of wierd to do so other than a family could be haunted by “it” for generations without knowing what ‘it’ is. It would be equal to saying "a family had a ghost " or a tribe had it’s monster or legend.
But asides from that, there is no story to tell if grreat grand pappy was a vegetarian slim shady as he wouldnt be considered much sport.

Yes, I’m only thinking from what i saw in the movie. There could have been traps that he used up. There’s definitely mimicry which will make a person freeze up for a moment. Would be pretty cool to set Audio Decoys to have been used and been effective. It would be nice to have Hopper’s team figure something out on the fly about the PRED and how to flush him out and you can have a scene or two of counter-counter scenario.
Besides the tactics used by Dutch, the Cryo suits used by Keyes, and maybe the Fire used by Royce there aren’t many mind games in the movies. I guess Naru will have something to say about that.
