In the main camp the really big one with the closable windows I think it’s the stargazer camp maybe? The frames drop to like 20 fps when u run into the light we need optimization for the night maps they all run really bad

Unfortunately this has been like this for over a year.
No when they first dropped the night maps they were pretty stable ever since they took backwater out of rotation backwater got way worse
Seems like they turned up the brightness on day maps too.
Almost unbearable currently.
The day time has been horrible frames for over a year.
And they still havent fixed it.
On ps5?? No.

I gotta be honest and say that it doesn’t happen in all matches, some run just fine on Excavation. Even looking at the sun light, there is no FPS drop.

Maybe. But sometimes it happens regardless the Pred uses plasma or not.

Almost a year since this started and they haven’t done anything about it. It’s been like… what?.. 4 full updates and 4 hotfixes (8 updates) and this is still a thing? I f&cking hate Illfonic.

I hate them for abandoning phg, but i also love them for creating it <3 it’s not their fault the player base is so small… no reason for them to continue working on this game

Idk how but the frame rate feels perfect now although im not sure about backwater I haven’t played that map in a while but the other one’s have been smooth as butter it must have been a glitch that fixed itself because I didn’t see anything about optimization in the patch notes

I get one good match (no fps drop) in Excavation every once in a while, like one out of 6, but the majority of them, are UNPLAYABLE. I get drops on Backwater night at places where there’s like more light than the rest of the map, I get it in Headquarters day on the east side, but not that much… I can handle it.
@OldKingHamlet, please please please please fix this. It’s been more than 6 months after that damn update that fu&ked up everything.
Also, it would be nice if we could get more day maps than night ones. I believe most of us would prefer that.
