No more new content till the game works

Can we all just agree we’d rather hold off on stupid shit like a samurai predator and hearing Arnold yell get to the Choppa so they can focus on making the game work? Like I want tons of content for this game too but why are we getting DLC monthly when the game is broken? When I was still learning I’d die now and then, but after week 1 of this game I’ve only died a handful of times as predator and EVERY SINGLE TIME has been due to a bug and I’m not exaggerating. I lose to bugs exclusively and that’s the most annoying shit when that’s happening then I see we are getting our THIRD predator added to the game before any of this gets fixef

Yes. They need to fix this bullshit or the games gonna die before they get all their dlc out. fuck illfonic I’ll never buy another game they make and I was pumped for the dlc but until the game is fixed what’s the point. I mean sure if you really want to you can spend money on something that doesn’t work well your at it throw some of your money in the fire or down a toilet no difference really

It’s not like they cant do both fix the bug and release predetermined DLCS for all anyone knows they’ve already got the dlc done ahead of time and are just working the bugs stop jumping to one conclusion when more are possible. And if I were illfonic I wouldnt respond to this forum either

Clearly, they arent able too. So better that they focus on fixing the game.

Well here’s what a lot of people miss when it comes to this situation. The Devs that fix bugs are not the same that create content. They are all set their own tasks and do what they’re specialised in. So they can’t just shift them all to working on fixing bugs.

You say that but the bugs don’t get fixed. I’m not asking for them to respond either I’m asking for them to fix the bugs. I’ve been leaping into trees instead of claiming skulls for weeks now

Yea I agree but if they only focus on the bugs the game will die out faster and will be on repeat for a month or to till there ready I’m not up for that atleast there trying to focus on fixing the game while making it more interesting

This sounds like a big ol excuse

That’s a fair statement

Well it’s just how it is. Do you think an audio designer can work on level design? It’s the same principles.

lol all yall angry kids sounding entitled. Chill out, takes time. Having content tides people over while they fix issues at the same time. i mean It’s not like your in game development.

I like the situation tbh we bought it for 40 and we get to play it as it evolves the dev dude mentions this in the interview saying ppl pay for the game to watch it grow into something badass because he claims there’s so much planned for the future of this game so I’m hype lol

Angry kids lol. Dude it’s a game with a price, money we spend, from hours we’ve spent working. We expect our games to work

So why we got DLC dropping often and bug fixes so scarce? Seems to me like time and effort and money is going to the wrong place

Because there are more people working on content than bug fixes I’d imagine. But to be fair although they’re far and few between they are pretty beefy patches when we eventually get them.

I should mention I love this game. It’s all I play. But this shit just gets old. I mean how much money did they pay Arnold for his voice instead of putting time into the game

I understand what you mean now. Yeah they should hire some more Devs that know how to fix shit.

Different teams work on different things so the game will get content and bug fixes at basically the same rate.

You don’t get your art designer to work on fixing the connection issues OP. You don’t get the sound design guy to rig animations. There typically aren’t too many working on the programming itself, a few people get to know the code front to back and that’s about it. Its why when lead programmers get fired in early access games and such they end up reworking a lot of the game from the ground up rather than going in working backwards trying to make things work.
People have different jobs.
