I’d definitely watch predator again. That jungle setting was done so well. I think there’s yet to be a game that captures a jungle like that. Suspense bordering on eerie. The sounds. I think the movie has very little dialogue so you can take it all in.

Hell, I WISH we’d get more shaders. We don’t even get those.
There’s still only even 1 “silly” camo outfit for FT, not all that many cool or weird shaders for weapons and knives, etc. there’s been so little to spend veritanium on for so long that I’ve saved up 11,250,000 veritanium and have about 850 field lockers.
Also about shaders there’s also a bunch of silly things in the game such as how there are some shaders that you can’t get in field lockers and can only directly unlock and they’re not even special in any way, it just seems like a setting was forgotten on them. Additionally, once you level a weapon up to level 10, if you keep using it, you can see the level progress bar continue and the color on the hex outside the level continue to change for 5 more levels that aren’t displayed, as if there were going to be an easter egg shader unlocked, but that never happens, you get the elite shader at 10 then nothing. Feels like something unfinished.
We could also use more accessories, hats, masks, etc.

Pred 2 defined clans at the time, and had some great moments, plus you could actually see the fighting, so it’s better than AVPR

Pred 2 doesn’t get the credit it deserves , the tension of the first was the unknown and with arnold not returning it jumps straight into the action. Glover didn’t do a bad job and in my opinion the first is just better than the second. The rating drops with each movie released in my eyes .

Excuse the “fuck me, what!!?” what??? Predator 2 is a classic, and no self respecting Predator fan would ever say it is “objectively worst than Predators 2010”. Both Predator 2 and Predators are superior movies to the AVP films. AVP Requim is a pathetic teeny bopper mess of a movie that can’t figure out what it is supposed to be “Am I a teenage drama? Am I a suspense horror? Can’t be true Pred/Alien cos we need that PG-13 money!” The shits all over the place, and the only decent scenes are the ones with Wolf Predator, everything else belongs in the bin with Predator 2018.
Now grab yourself a pen and notebook, and write the following out 100 times;
Predator > Predator 2/Predators > AvP > AvPR > The Predator(2018)

Agreed. As an 80s child, Predator 87 was something unique and amazing. It left it’s mark in your mind. Predator 2 was a great evolution on the Predator mythos, it fit naturally that a Predator would hunt in a hot, war torn city and the backdrop of gangland LA was perfect. City Hunter was just as menacing with all the new tech, and that first reveal of the trophy room in the space ship was a total mindgasm!!

I agree 100% , they done the best with what they could and they expanded just enough without expanding too much .
The cast was good , the action was good , city hunter was more balls to the wall and would rock with anybody anywhere , he didn’t give a shit .
His personality change from jungle hunter (tactics) were subtle enough to make him stand out , any of the other preds in 2010 just were bland .
Most of his combat was close quarters .

True. I couldn’t really get on board with the whole “Super Predators” and their aesthetic, although Falconer and his Drone was definitely in keeping with Predator tactics/style and the standout of the 3. It was a true Predator movie in it’s heart and tried it’s best. The Hunting Planet was a great concept and felt like a natural evolution again; jungle - city - planet reserve.

2010 definitely has alot to like about it , it is a good movie but it just doesn’t top the first two . In my opinion anyway. It will probably be the last decent predator movie we get
