If they don’t spell out the rules then people will get banned for things that were previously allowed though. If people are that petty to purposely skirt the rules then they’d do it anyways and quote the guidelines while doing so but I don’t anyone would do it unless they’re that pissed off at them.

They are that pissed off at them. I think there have been plenty of warnings and closed threads as of late to get the gist of what’s ok and what isn’t.
They are that pissed off mainly because of all that and the fact that there’s very little communication. I’m not condoning death threats (no idea if any have been made but those people can go fuck themselves) but when memes that were previously allowed are no longer allowed and people get banned as a result then how would you feel. @wuffle was banned and someone else made an account with his name and they not only banned that one but increased his ban time and he had nothing to do with it.

Yeah, figuring out who makes clone accounts is a shot in the dark. All of us could make such fake accounts and they won’t be able to tell if a banned person did it or not. There’s no good solution for that unless they just ban the making of new accounts.
I’m going off of what the mods said, that warnings were given; maybe it wasn’t at that specific moment, but for sure in the past.
