Too bad that’s the only way of speaking up for yourself unless you have a buddy willing to risk a 50/50 chance of ban for asking questions.
I threads keep getting closed and people just keep doing the same thing again, perhaps it’s the next step to take. We’ve been more and more on illfonics case as of late. Its fair to criticize but amount of shitposting has gone up as well.
Actions have consequences, not just for forum members .
They treated people who had faith in them like shit on their shoe , if they managed the game competently? I would see a point , but the job they done with the game doesn’t warrant ass kissing . Nothing would change (it won’t anyway) if things aren’t called out .

Topics were DELETED in OFF TOPIC for weeks without any reasoning provided. No shit people take it personally.
And they just mass delete replies. Same for pointing out the general hypocrisy in leaving certain threads up and locking others. Hell the “off topic” moderator was participating in an off topic thread in GD as kame pointed out with of course, no response.

Most of the post in GD are from months ago so that should tell you how many people were banned as well as how many threads were deleted. Like I’ve been saying for a while now, it’s fine if this is how it was in the beginning however letting things go as they were and suddenly flipping the script is only going to make things worse for everybody especially when there’s no warning.
There’s no news section letting everyone know that from now things will be this way going forward just a single reply somewhere saying that you should use best judgement without the knowledge of what would break said guidelines. Hell you had mass posting tropic thunder memes calling people “retarded” and that’s fine but a chuck tingle post is off limits. How is that not hypocritical? It took several people to point out that the ghostbusters thread is not related to P:HG but some obscure thread in GD or off topic is immediately eviscerated.
If this is how they want to run the forums that’s fine, their house their rules but at least give everything the same treatment.
