Well looks like we won’t get one till next week maybe. Which would be March 1st. I think that’s why they didn’t did give us a roadmap yet. Either whatever their working on, they didn’t want to have a time constraint on it. Or they are switching to tri-monthly updates or quarterly updates.

Monday is the 28th so that would probably be the day that an update is released since it would fall inline with their communications on a ‘Feb update’.

I’ve practiced with friends such as @Cptclutch117 with these rules and I have a couple things to say:
The Fireteam is still overpowered because they can still select thick skin, self revives, Field Medics, PDLs, so why in the flying fuck can’t Predators use Down range, Stalker or Analytic? It’s stupid. I even hit one player 4 times with the smart disc in one throw, twice while he was downed and THE FIELD MEDIC STILL PICKED HIM UP!!! It’s stupid. Field Medic, PDLs and self revive shouldn’t have been in this thing from the start.
For any Predator players entered into this tournament I can confidently say this build is your best chance of success:
Jungle Hunter '87/Captured/Hunter
Fervent
Combistick
Smart Disc
Healing kit, Bear traps
Large pouch, medic, adrenal boost
Use the Combistick and Smart Disc because the Yautja Bow will be made obsolete without Down Range, and especially as the Fireteam can still have Field Medics and self revive. You’d have to literally land every single Bow shot to get kills. I’ve even shot 4 arrows in a field medic who was self reviving and he didn’t die. It also doesn’t make sense as to why you wouldn’t allow the Fireteam to use Deadly, but they can use Duelist. And not gonna lie, but if a team wants to spam PDLs then they can just let the OWLF or Recon bring the PDLs and the Support supply him with ammo bags. This is a very flawed tournament already. It’s a great idea don’t get me wrong, but the rules don’t make much sense at all in a lot of cases. If you ask me, you should’ve just said no Field Medics, self revives, PDLs from the start, and just remove specialisations. There is an option for it in the custom match rules. It will probably result in reduced xp though but it would make the game balanced

The way I understand the “spirit” of this tournament (which I agree to) is this:
it’s not a PRED vs FT competition. So basically balance complaints are non-sense in this regard.
It’s more like a “best pred league” and a “best FT league” , based on a point system. Am I wrong @JelouGaming ?

I’m sorry to hear this was your experience Vorhees. That hasn’t been the experience between us.
In the end, the game will never feel balanced between different skill levels . This is the best I could come up with to try and narrow it down, but there’s always things that will feel unfair.
Question will the tourny be live streamed and if so on what platform? And who will be streaming it? Because I would like to watch it as much as I hate and loath this game
You had a few bad experiences and you’re judging it based on your regular builds. Gotta give it a few more shots. In your vids i noticed that your get good separation of FT. Perhaps things didn’t go your way

Because of the time zone differences and some people find that while streaming their ping is slightly higher and experience some lag, most matches will only be recorded and uploaded.
I however, while not a live match, will be Livestreaming as most matches as I can on twitch, with some guests commenting on the observations of the matches.
I will try my best to not watch the matches previously, so the reaction to what happens is more natural.
