So far it’s been harder for both sides. So it kinda makes the skill gap be a tad smaller.
My expectation has always been that with 5 players on the same skill level, FT should always win unless a mistake is made. Because if Pred can win against 4 people on the same skill level playing perfectly, then that player will likely never lose as pred. That isn’t balanced, doesn’t matter how much some people around here think that is how the game should be.

So claiming must be close-up and not a ranged claim? (I.e., shooting an arrow at the downed FT - the scoreboard shows FT is claimed albeit at a distance)

You can play however you want bro. I’m just saying how you decide to play will affect your final score because you will get less XP. So, be careful how you play against who. Farm XP in the matches you feel confident, sacrifice XP in the matches you fear you may lose. You won’t score XP for matches lost.

For example, for FT the ultimate goal is to complete all objectives, including optional, calling the chopper, killing pred, defusing the bomb and one stays securing the body.

Of course against a good pred that may be impossible and you may just choose to kill the pred and secure the win with whatever little XP you may get

Let me put an example of the scoring system. I’ll use Predator for the simplicity of it, but fireteam will be evaluated the same way.

Let’s say you play 10 matches and you win all of them. You winning ratio is 10/10, so 1. Your collective XP for all the matches won (10) is 60,000. Your final score is 60,000 (1*60,000).

Now let’s say another player plays 10 matches as well, but only won 8 of them. His winning ratio is 0.8. But the collective experience of all 8 matches is 80,000. The final score is 64,000 (0.8*80,000). This player won, even though the first one had no losses.

So let’s say a pred player feels like he has 0% chance to win against a super strong FT team, so he goes O.B. at start of the match. That way FT wins, but likely gets 0 XP and the win doesn’t matter at all. Scummy way to play to i guess, but it’s a tactic.

I mean if you are gonna play like that just flat out refuse to play that match. match doesn’t grant any xp to the pred nor does it affect the winrate of either.

be a better sportman and give it your best shot

Agreed. Something like that will only happen if pred is also ‘rooting’ for a specific FT team 😁

Man it’s gonna be a blast , I don’t care about proving myself , just having some good jam sessions will be enough for me cuz my lord the rando matches are sub par to say the least

I think in the spirit of a friendly tournament, these rules are quite exceptional 🤷‍♂️👍🏼

I especially appreciate the thought put into the FT classes, to have one of each, and what weapons they really are meant to be using for a genuinely accurate and fair experience.

I mean, if you are willing to take q loss that will affect your score just to try an advance of a particular Fireteam… That’s very lame but not against the rules. In any case, I doubt it will affect much. Because the score is based of wins and XP, I highly doubt a single match will make much of a difference, specially if there are many teams. The more players the less effect shit like this will have.

I guess the only build I could use are either my scout sniper Duelist or my Dutch Leader, who I mainly use for destroying pc or good Predators.

Dutch is a DLC class, no DLC classes are available.

Also Scout classes have to use assault rifle, not sniper rifle.

Oh yeah forgot.
I think I got a Scout either with Liberator or Scavenger (don’t remember the spec right now) with the Hammerhead though.
And I know Scavenger is not allowed but like I said I don’t remember right now what I got on him.
