Is high dpi smart disc allowed as pred?
we have no way of controlling that
and I donāt want to ban pred weapons
but damage will not be as high as it is right now, because stalker, analytic and downrange are banned. so 1 hit will do 120 HP, enough to hurt but not to one hit down any class
If a referee will watch the games, he could see clearly 180degrees disc turns that are impossible with normal dpiā¦ Or fast killing downed FTs with super fast 180degrees turns
Worry not much about that my friend. Players that choose to win fast over gaining XP will not finish that high in the tournament.
The way the scoring system is designed encourages a different type of gameplay in order to finish first. Is not just about winning, is about how you win.
The same applies for fireteam squads who go for a quick predator kill with disregard for the objectives. They wonāt score that high either.

Dragging things out might be risky too and could cost the match, for pred mainly. It may be hard to tell how good FT or pred is from the start considering the less than OP builds. Running some practice matches would be a good idea.
Also, as some players stated, having fun and doing things your way may be more important than maxing out winning potential. Itās a good option to have.

Everyone can play however they prefer. Yes, it is a risky move indeed and Iād say for both, and thatās all part of it. Youāll need to do some critical decision making in the process. Is not going to be easy game for anybody.
We are doing tryouts in the discord to get teams assembled and so that everyone gets a better grip on how they should be playing. I think FTās are the ones who will have a harder time adapting, and thatās expected, as FT has been broken for so long that we all just lost that perspective of teamplay and everybody just plays like Rambo.

Fervent still claps hard tho and 6K dpi with the disc can do wonders.

Not too worried about it honestly. Predator players engaging on the usual 4 kill 3 minute matches wonāt score high. And those wishing to maximize their score will likely pick tracker. Thereās only one class allowed that has fervent.

Whatās normal dpi on a mouse? I can hit 180degrees on the disc with high in game sensitivity. My mouse is default set at 8,000 dpi. Just takes the wrist flick move.
There is no such thing as a normal dpi. A typical modern gaming mouse can go from 100 to 15,000. Monitor resolution will affect how fast the mouse responds (the higher the resolution the higher dpi needed yo achieve the same travel with the same physical movement).
Just like I canāt punish those who use their whole arm and a big desk to achieve the same movement on lower dpi, those who have mastered the āsoft touchā to be able to control their aim with minimal hand movement at higher dpi cannot be punished as well.
In the end, like I said, it doesnāt matter. The whole tournament is not about wins or losses, but how you play and you win.

So far we have 33 people in. Once we hit the 40 mark I will begin to pressure participants with the formation of squads.
10 squads vs 10 predators, THATS 100 MATCHES.
