Official PREY trailer released (not copyrighted and was OFFICIALLY released publicly)

New subspecies just dropped, hopefully they’re not as stupid as the Supers.

So my theory was true about “The Island” of Predators experimented on to make and mix species & create new breeds like Scout from Predator 2

Btw good coverage I was about to announce that

Thats a weight off everybody’s mind 👍🏻

Glad to know you think so too! Anything specific you can’t wait to see in the movie?

I do believe he’s being sarcastic

Yeah I guess I forgot who I was talking to 🤦🏻‍♂️

It actually looks fun , but the fact they need to keep reminding everybody of the main characters gender and ethnicity? Its going to feel like getting clubbed by a message over and over .

Besides that garbage , it looks visually good for a VOD release and the pred seems somewhat decent.

So I will wait and see how it plays out.

But again , it could be just like PHG , pred 2018 left such a bad taste and there wasn’t a game released for 10 years , that people would enjoy anything that’s above that low bar .

Ok, that sounds interesting. I just hope it at least looks like a pred rather than a different thing entirely

Oh it’ll look like a Predator and act like one, but the mandibles might look a lot different long with other facial features and color patterns. The only Predator we know of that’s a different breed from the Yautja’s and Supers is Scout:

I am becoming cautiously optimistic for this

Just know that it’s a different breed so it’s not technically our Yautja (Predator we are used to seeing) however I’m glad they are bringing this to light for we get to see more variations of Predator species

Wait, what’s the lore about Scout that NECA wrote? I don’t remember anything regarding his wierd face.

For what we know he just might had genetical modifications,
or I’ll say that’s the most logical thing to think after the canonical lore of The Predator about some yautja/clans doing it

(even the Supers are probably genetically modified yautja

Little fun thing, if we see the Emissary version of PHG he’s a mix between a Super and a Classic, which only emphasize this theory).

Sups aren’t genetically modified, their a sub species of Yautja.

This is the lore of the Scout Predator, the top pretty much gives the short and sweet answer.

Ohhhh okay intesting, thanks for the reminder, I really didn’t rember the sub-species detail in his description.

But I wouldn’t know about the Supers… it’s not officially stated that they’re a sub species, it would make more sense for them to be just genetically modified.
I can get Scout, or even Hornhead, but the Super are far too wierd in my opinion;
I can even remember that it was an unused concept of the movie, to have the Supers hunting for DNA:

“Unlike other Predators, who hunt for honor and for trophies, in the script the Super Predators hunt for DNA to become more powerful hunters.[citation needed] This coincidentally bares great similarities to certain plot points in the 2018 film The Predator. The concept was later dropped from the film, but the Super Predators still hunt them to improve themselves.”
(Xenopedia)

Then this concept of Assassin REALLY reminds me of Berserker/Mr.Black:

If you use the Platinum Rival Mask and stick the Black Waves warpaint on then it looks almost identical to Feral’s mask if it weren’t insect-like.

God I can’t wait to see this motherfucker in the movie🤣

His physique looks alot like Mr Black from what I can see

Now she’s blind in that eye, lol

Ok… I wonder why their saying that up front like that instead of waiting to reveal that in the movie itself.

I hope Feral doesn’t die idiotically at the end of the movie.

Maybe they could take Naru in their ship and fly away to hunt other intergalactic species, like a space bear or something.

Damn you know your right, might have to redo it now but I got some good videos out of the first build.

In your opinion, how should a predator die to a human?

I couldn’t open the link bacuse I don’t have the Reddit app, so I had to find the interview iselft with the director

I report the words to have them here:

He continued, offering a tease for the Predator as a whole, saying: "I think our Predator in my mind, not only does he exist, you know, 300 years before, but I think in sci-fi movie terms, time moves very slowly. If the way that Star Wars functions or even Star Trek, you know, it’s like 300 years. Ships aren’t suddenly like so different.

But I think this guy’s perhaps from a different hemisphere of the planet and a little bit of a different breed. So even his look is a little new, it’s familiar, but new. So I’m excited for people, even for diehard fans, to really see something they hadn’t seen before."

Yeah a Scout like situation might be the case for Feral Predator.
We’ll see what they did.
