humans are boring and safe I havent seen a newer movie where the monster wins since like Life 2017 and Oculus. Brightburn and paranormal activity if that counts? It’s like only horror movies do this.

Movies where the monster wins are so rare its considered a plot twist. They get scared critics will call it bad storytelling if all the characters die.

A Sony rep did comment on how much money the movie did make though, calling the calculation “way off.” Apparently, all of the other Ghostbusters merchandise and promotions made the enough money to make up for the movie’s losses.

Literally the same source Wikipedia is using says that.
