Let’s be reasonable here. We should all hope this movie, and every other movie from Hollywood, fails. Let Hollywood go bankrupt and crumble so no more kids get sold and used by those degenerate pedophile scum. Also so no more aspiring actors/actresses get used by other Harvey Wienstein types (which are a dime a dozen in pedowood).

A) women BAD
B) capitalists are trying to push leftist agenda since they now put women, LGBTQ+ and pox in their movies out of deep rooted leftist convictions and not to appeal to a wider audience, follow trends and get more money
Both ideas are insane and should be treated as such. There is no such thing as “woke Disney”. Their wokeness runs down to acknowledging that, like, you know, gay people and women exist and they have money => we can sell them stuff. We’re not talking about local crowd’s bigotry even (because there is literally no reason to be upset that main character in a movie of which we know nothing beyond like basic description will be a Native American woman if you’re not low-key sexist and racist), I’m just saying that this idea of Disney or any other big Hollywood movie studio being anything but a corporate capitalist entity only interested in making money and making their investors and shareholders happy is absurd.

Hollywood was trying to make a profit since its inception, tbh. Current day media is not worse or better than it was in like 1940s. It’s just different. But the approach to funding films is more or less the same: getting profit.
Well, I have to disagree about SJWs here. Like, Rise of Skywalker was literally an apologetic movie to praise right wing mob who literally tried and succeeded to bully of social networks an actress for not liking her character (because of, ehm, bigoted reasons).
Studios react to whatever signals they’re getting and trying to play everything as safe as possible.
But, once again, I just don’t get why casting women, poc or LGBTQ+ is a bad thing. Like, everyone has been bringing up Dark Fate and how it sucked because of women apparently. But like Genisys wasn’t “woke” and “corrupted by SJW” and still sucked. So, maybe, the problem isn’t, like, women and, like, gay people or smth, but just capitalism that makes studios milk franchises dry and make as safe and marketable a movie as possible?
And personally I am all for diversity just because it opens up room for more scenarios, character dynamics etc. Like, I do think that we alredy got a fare share of movies made about buff heterosexual dudes fighting space Tarzans. I want to see something new.

When it comes to Alien films, cunning characters are more what we want to see. When it comes to Predator, we want macho men with some smarts thrown in. It’s hard to believe a young, indigenous girl can take out a Predator, much less a city cop annihilating one. Although, he gets points for the level of balls he shows during the film.
Money is a bonus , manipulating peoples perception and running a narrative is the real profit .

But they’re not the focal points of each movie. The CIA was literally just there in the first movie to get them into the jungle. They’re never mentioned again in place of the FREAKING ALIEN THAT THE MOVIE IS NAMED AFTER. The “Latin Government” is never mentioned again either.
Same thing about Predator 2, the cops doing good cop things is not the focal point of the movie, it’s the cops fighting the predator. Hence why it’s named “Predator.” The plot revolves around fighting the alien throughout the movie.
When the plot synopsis for Predator 5 barely mentions the predator and rather talks about “gender norms” I’m gonna assume the movie is really political
