Been playing as pred for the past few days.

I, by no means, am good at it.

Fireteam is definitely more toxic than Preds

I have already started to get called cheater for using the bow and plasma caster and actually landing my shots.

Welcome to the masochistic bs that is called playing the solo role in an asymmetrical game.

The killer in DBD.
The zombie in dying light.
The monster in Evolve.
The predator in PHG.

All just mental torture in a lopsided game of tag after that 100th hour. And this game’s pretty generous about it since ps4 players controls are so shitty.

Also if no one’s told you yet, you’re a little bitch if you don’t jump down there and melee the FT so they can drain your hp bar, every single one of the 3 viable weapons pred has in his awful roster needs to be nerfed into the ground btw because I got headshot by a bow in solo queue and this is a solo/duo carry game.

I think it’s a consistent enough pattern to determine that it’s a psychological thing at this point. The solo role always seems OP to the people that just started playing the game yesterday. Then people figure out how to play and the killer starts seeing the lazarus every single match, the tracker lands every dome, the PvE aspects of the game become meaningless, people find the DBD jungle gyms god loop guides etc then the 4 man just rolls 99.9% of opposition because the game is balanced around pubs but what this means in the 4 man tbaggers head is that he is actually a god. And if hes dies its actually because the killer is a little bitch abusing broken weapons, or tunneling, or camping the hook because trapper didnt walk across the map and give him a chance, bla bla.

4 good players > 1 good player generally speaking.
These games are all built around the 4 man side making mistakes and when they stop making mistakes its just “lol watch me infinitely loop the killer pro play” like we saw in year one DBD with survivors vehemently defending that infinite loops and instant flashlights were balanced because they required insane amounts of skill and their premade is just too good at the game. These games have mechanics in place that support pubs, which tends to completely break higher levels of play. That and there are more people in the team-based role so their voices are loudest and they want their bully simulators.

You could adjust the balance specifically for players that are in a group, but imagine trying to implement that in DBD. All you’d hear is “Nooo why am I being punished for playing in a group I swear im not even using discord, devs you’re killing the game”

Oh yeah man trust me I’m very well versed in asymmetrical games and you are hitting the nail on the head. I’ve been a rank 1 killer for years now and to this day if I’m not using a meta build and i bump into sweaty survivors, no matter how good my mind games are, no matter how short the chases are, gens just fly. A good team knows how to be efficient on gens. And survivors WILL complain about your perks. I run BBQ on TRAPPER literally just for the blood points and someone told me I only won cause bbq lol. Like hoss trapper can’t really use that information all that much😂 meanwhile survivor perks literally break all the momentum the killer has in the game. But you don’t see killers messaging kids about using ds unbreakable.

Right they’re going to complain about everything you do whilst coordinating perks and loadouts so you might as well play the most obnoxious shit to counter their obnoxious shit. Even if it’s off-meta.

It’s like a personal offense if they get taken out of the game early, slugged, or get NOED while trying to troll at the gate and then you get to read an entire essay about it. Or they’re ENTITLED TO THE HATCH. Ranked climbs in casual games attract the angriest premades.

I literally jump down, offered a knife fight and they start moving around so I do the same, and call me cheater for moving around instead of standing still while they knife my back

You’re supposed to stand there and just die to them mashing heavy attack. If you jump or sprint around them you are cheating.

I mean if your using the bow and spamming it everywhere, I would just called it annoying again because everyone and there child is using it and you just get tired of going against it. Way I seen it the predator is the bad guy, murdering the others you pick the role and the bed so you have to lay in it. It’s why I play friendly predator to have some fun at least and give the ft a more relaxed match.

Really imo since the bow ammo is marked and you can pick it back up you dont need 30 shots, people is recommending to the dev’s of 15 shots instead of 30

I’d say the most balanced out of the asymmetrical games was F13 funnily enough. Obviously that had its counselor sided moments though. Night of the thousand pocket knives anyone? But there were a few times where it was for the most part, fairly balanced. Especially at the end of the game’s life cycle. I like how it punishes you for bullying Jason too. The more you bully him by stunning him the quicker he gets rage and becomes borderline unstoppable. Which they made even stronger at the end of the game’s life cycle. Even a bad Jason could get 2 or 3 kills on average. And a good Jason was a force to be reckoned with.

Too bad that’s the one that got screwed over though. Now we’re left with these other failing asymmetrical games that our heavily survivor sided. DBD needs some damn competition again because for the most popular asymmetrical game it sucks ass most of the time.

Remember if you use:

  • The plasma caster, HHPCP or bow you’re a bitch because you “spam” 1-3 shots to their 30+.

  • If you use any melee weapon you’re a bitch.

  • If you jump you’re a pussy same applies if you run or use the trees or cloak.

  • If you 1v1 them and win you’re a supreme bitch especially if you don’t 1v1 all of them.

  • Traps? Oh yeah definitely a bitch.

  • Don’t let them reinforce or you wipe the team quickly then you’re a fucking try hard get a fucking life loser.

  • Kill 6 FT and the last guy gets away by the skin of their teeth then you’re trash, the epitome of dog shit.

There’s more of course but that’s all I can do for now.

Yeah like literally no matter what you use. I’ve had someone complain I tunneled using legion. For reference, tunneling is when you just focus one person down to get rid of them, and legion is a character who’s entire power relies of volleying your targets back and forth lol. Gotta love the awful dbd survivors. No way you just outplayed them not no way not no how. Honestly one thing I’ll give PHG is I Almost NEVER get salty messages from dead ft members

I honestly do not care. I’m a noob pred. I suck at it so much. Still win roughly 70% of my matches. Most players flat out quit if I start putting some sort of pressure on them. I’m loving it!
