@Eshtion
I haven’t read stalking shadows. This is me purely spitballing a way to be rid of The Predator and get Arnold back on film in a meaningful way and get Terry Crews to dip his feet in.
Well, I thought, given what Dutch and Keyes talked about in the tapes, perhaps the OWLF had begunnto successfully kill Elders etc at an alarming rate, thereby raising the threat level from hunt to battle. Again ,just a way to get a story rolling. I don’t work for Fox or anything.
In much the same way Harrison Ford thought about Han Solo. If there’s no real risk to the main characters, the villains are taken far less seriously. They become a joke. And Predators should never be a joke.
I did. Machiko is garbage. Nothing like or about her should ever be written into canon.
That followup comic to Predators was also garbage. It would be struck from the record.
They are? Have you seen the Mandalorian? Thats how to do them correctly.
Bear in mind that Royce, Isabel and Shaman never actually met Dutch. Isabel had only heard stories about him. I figured that while the 3 were kinds stuck with each other, they’d talk about their own experiences and those of the Lost Tribe, which JH was not of, presumably. Shaman would know about Harrigan, having witnessed him kill CH on his own ship etc. Like swapping war stories, except Royce and Isabel get the idea that Harrigan may be of use, not knowing anything else about him. I would put it that they managed to zero in on some signal given off by Egyptian Preds detonation or something like that to know where to aim their pod. Could be fleshed out more, who knows.
Not so much thatbhe would know more, but that he’d gone into hiding and written his own notes on them for years. Royce and Isabel have no clue what the OWLF had or has or even exists. The Preds don’t know shit about what Harrigan been up to. They never bothered him again after Elder let him go with his gift.
Again, another spitball. Could be anything sneaky. Maybe they remove their masks while at leisure activities.
They’d be flying in a Predator ship, albeit a slapped together one, or managed to cloak some other craft. The point is, they get by undetected. Or maybe it could lead to a big space battle, whatever. Spitballing.
I never said the plan succeeded. Maybe they crash and are stranded on Yautja prime and have to try to find a way off. Maybe they stumble upon the planet at war between the regulars and the super predators and just have to find a way off, etc. Lots of ways to go.
This would be considered a last ditch effort since the OWLF would be on its last legs by now, after the previous events.
Like I said, this is just one guy, who despises The Predator enough to make up an entire series to get the stench of it out of his nose and keep moving the franchise forward, while keeping the good stuff from the films, not comics etc intact.
