Optional Hunt Mechanic for Pre-made(of 3 or 4)

Pre-made’s are always going to destabilize the balance in Hunt, the advantages of communication and familiarity are not likely to be over come by a damage change or health buff.

The simplest solution I can think of is giving the same advantages to the Pred side and that means adding a second Pred. This will change the balanced of the Hunt, it will be a Pred favouring mode for those who wish to chose it.

Basically if a Pred player chooses, they can request a second Pred player join the lobby (hopefully lower que’s). Anytime a Pre-made team of sufficient size or win ratio, enters the lobby you’re given the option, if you choose it, a second Predator will join you on the hunt.

Nothing else will change other than the second Predator, the team will only know by checking their map.

So what do you think? Would this help the balance or utterly destroy it.

Damn i don’t know 2 predators vs 4 ft i don’t know me alone i can net gun like 2 people easily no hesitation so the other predator there cpuld do the same or thow bear traps or just pc them to oblivion while they chase me or try finding each predator… i think it would make for a good game mode and would probably bring it to popularity again with this crazy ass mode… so imagine 2 predators signaling each other and just the amount of team work that could be possible is so interesting to me i honestly wouldn’t mind hunting FT with a friend

Oh yeah, I think it would be a mess and Pred’s would win most matches.
I’m just tired of having the same arguments about balance.

I think all in all I’d rather see a new game mode for multi pred than this only because cooperative Preds can easily mow through a coordinated fireteam.

I say this because yes a three man team can hunt and kill a pred clean and quick, 4 man obviously too, but two preds Plasma pummeling a team? They have no chance. I’d rather preds compete than cooperate.

Basically yeah.
2 or 3 predators are hunting FT. Idea has already been pitched but have 2 teams of 5 FT doing different objectives. As a predator, you can’t claim another predators kill. If you do, your marked bad blood and now open season for the other 1 or 2 predators. Now that scenario where “Hey I get this tree, you get that roof and we’ll just rain plasma down until they die and we win” will gain you no rewards.
Needs to be a little more thought out obviously but I think I’ve got the basics here?

Hmm interesting thats sounds cool i especially enjpy the bad blood aspect… but i would still enjoy a co op hunt with a friend and hell if i play with a friend it automatically throws me in 4 man pc lobby while me and my friend are on ps4

Like it would require some attention to detail. You mark your targets with the infrared marker. So if you scan them, they’re yours. Any predator can damage but you cannot down a FT member you haven’t marked, and you can’t claim a FT member you haven’t marked. If you do, now you’re bad blood. Predators have free reign to take YOU down.

This also works for unmarked FT. If you don’t bother scanning and claiming your target, you can’t down or claim. Meaning you’ll need to stalk your prey

I’m sure I’m not the first to mention this. The idea needs some fine tuning but I’d really like to see a “Big Hunt” mode like this
