Again you are missing the point. Adapting to a meta is one thing. If range is way stronger in the meta awesome. That’s fine. The point is no single way to play the game should be a complete non factor. That’s just inherently stupid if it’s not even an option. I’m fine with something being a bad option, but it shouldn’t be a non factor. No problem with certain tactics being more viable, but if you are saying you are fine with all melee combat being unusable without a net gun, well you are advocating for a very linear model of a game that will become boring. Lack of options is always bad.

You are literally ignoring everyone’s point and putting words in our mouth. No one said predator is weak. No one said you can’t win. All we are advocating for is making the parrying system slightly weaker so an entire form of combat in the game is not unusable on its own.

You gave this instance on your own and in this instance it’s not too difficult to net. I was much the same when I found about the parry I was ticked but again I felt more accomplished learning to get around it rather than being given a way around it, all you have to do is practice and everyone has that ability.
Besides if we did away with every little thing someone didn’t like or felt op or anything like that…imagine this game would turn into “predator paintball! Where humans and preds play paintball against each other in the jungle! Who will get completely covered in paint and welts first?!”

You are using anecdotal evidence and again, missing the point. I have killed many people using melee alone as well. Also anecdotal. If someone knows how to parry you can’t melee them alone without use of other weapons. Not everyone knows how to, not everyone is good at it. The fact that we have killed people with melee does not change the fact that someone who can parry well can’t be melee killed alone.

You’re not wrong mate, the problem is… sadly the developers will listen to the majority which seems to be these people, so by actually exposing their idiocy we might actually get somewhere. Maybe i’m wrong however being someone with experience within development myself, feedback is taken into account by numbers so let’s just hope that it’s not the case here.

Shouldn’t have to do a lot of things, I don’t like having to resort to using just one method but unfortunately until some changes are made gotta use what ya got or don’t.

Keep in mind you have to balance around the top players. If it’s in the game the top players will use it to its absolute most effect.

yes you can time your hits and they can only block like 3 hits and they cant run jump or aim down sight ( god i love this update)

Yeah I fear this game is just going to be an endless cycle of nerfs, buffs, changes and I doubt they’ll hit a sweet spot for things like this. But I hope I’m proven wrong about that. At this point I’m just waiting for a bot mode because I can’t have fun with the online at the moment.
