FYI dev team - had an issue when starting a match that caused the screen to be frozen on the ‘player status’ overlay (Tab key). Pressed it at the begging of the Predator opening scene and it was frozen when the match actually started - couldn’t exit out of it and had to leave the match.

PLEASE fix this game guys! It has potential but it’s so flawed I don’t know where to begin. I think this forum has a lot of good feedback but I think I can speak for everyone with how disappointing this has been so far. Please work hard to fix this game

Why Cant a good game developer make a good predator game. The concept has so much potential but get ruined again and again with the shit sequels and garbage games

Please give the predator more hp if I play every time they kill me for 3 shots and if I play for the fireteam then the predator has 1,000,000 hp and I won’t kill him with all the bullets

The game is fun and amazing just the game I was waiting for but, I wish IllFonic would put an offline mode into this game just like they did on Friday the 13th to play without any internet connection. I’m thinking that I’m saying it almost for everyone in this conversation.
They spot you and heal as soon as you finish downing a player. We all understand those lame ass plasma caster and comb stick tactics. As the predator i want to be able to use the smart disk and the net gun among his other equipment as well. And the damn fire team needs to be slower with a spotting cooldown or something. A geared up fire team will max the predator the moment they spot him in the trees. End of story. Nobody can argue with it. Buff the predator!

Absolutely needs an offline mode like F13, if that could be implemented sooner, rather then later I’m sure we’d all appreciate it. So far I’m having a good time. Better via private match imo.
It’s true what u say but things will happen slower cause they working from home as ppl wait they get super angry I can see it on twitter, there no way getting a refund its a good game

It depends no game is the same it’s why I like it, I think using the same playsyle has a good and bad points to it
The game to new and it needs as many ppl to play online first otherwise it take even more longer to find games if some ppl play offline
I think the predators melee needs to be nurfed. You go down in 3 hits. That’s way to quick to be killed.
Nah, sounds about right. In the time it takes to get those 3 hits the predator wouldve been shot down onto 2nd wind or killed

I tend to agree with many of these points. I too grew up with the predator, alien and terminator franchises and was born in the late 70’s. I’m an old git but the predator franchise is so close to my heart.
I am happy to admit that I suck at playing games like this but still love to play! I rarely move or think fast enough to survive long enough to see more than about 10 mins of a round. it’s really frustrating as I so love the game but can’t keep up with the youngsters, and therefore suffer even further by not building experience points as quick to be able to level up, get better weapons etc, to stand a fighting chance!
With no campaign single player mode old fan boys like me have to make do with waiting long times to play as our favourite alien hunter to only redeem a short time in game because we get slaughtered by the veteran gamers (or gamers that obviously have more time on their hands to play!). When your in your mind 40’s with a house and kids, life is busy so gaming is done an hour here or there!
I need a play mode where I can train at my own pace and soak up the nuances of my favourite sci fi character - even if it’s just playing bots! Please don’t forget us old fan boys… we are an important demographic for your game!

Yeah. I don’t know why they didn’t do this to begin with. I was about to pre-order the deluxe edition; then I found out it was multiplayer only. I knew predator queue times were going to be stupid long, and I’m not a fan of online-only anything. My Predator love keeps telling me to buy this game, but my logic tells me not to because I’d just get frustrated and hate it. Hope they add this sooner rather than later. I’d drop my cash instantly if I knew offline and bots would be a thing.

There is no offline mode. That’s one of the problems with the game as far as I’m concerned.

You grab exactly my feelings… one point for sure is that illfonic is not a skilled SH if we talk about AI coding… if you look at Fthe13th they takes big time to make some sort of AI and here we have some primitive pattern of bots that are not a true core for the game… their use is simply to be more treat for pred vs operative fights… the AI developement is the most difficult thing in videogame creation… making multiplayer game is better for little SH… you can also see DbD fot this concept… a game that I don’play exactly because it has not an offline mode.
But…
As I said before… its not a triple A game able to make great selling number… so I think that maybe the ideas could be better in the beginning… multiplayer games are a lot on the market today… the idea behind this concept is not bad, but predator is an old IP that hit the heart of oldies like Me and you, the new players have no need for a predator game… not like us… so… why they take this choice? I dunno… multiplayer players will simply change game if they don’t get fun or quality… with a simple pred vs bots mode, they probably duplicate the sales… and the most stupid thing is that a prototype of offline bots is already in the game! If you choose private matches you are vs the map’s Ai… if they add some AI patch e some objectives the offline bots is served… i really dont undestand.
For now i play a lot private matches as predator, pratically is like a tutorial for 10 minutes longer, the AI is fresh meat and is impossible to die… but with a little bit of fantasy you can grab the predator feelings…
Is not a solution, but better than nothing…
you can unlock a lot of feature playing like that, and then retry in multiplayer… also because in the first level is impossible to survive as a predator… you must unlock the netgun, or the disk… and absolutely the combistick that unlock a level 42…yes 42… 42 levels of infinite queie times and frustrating death… I think this is a big issue in the concept game, because is not possible start to play well only using one or two features of ALL your equipment that you unlock at the middle of the game…all winning pred build are combistick and disk… the plasmacaster is a suicide, that make no damage an reveal your position, so you must forget about it… a signature weapon completely useless… all skirmish weapons fail in damage and action range… the fireteam member equip minigun and grenade launcher always…
For me playing like this is impossible, in time and frustration meaning… i think that an offline mode is the base for any game, without it when the people will go on other titles, we will have nothing in our hands, i play Friday the 13th still now thx to the offline bots
