I caught myself thinking that PHG was the first successful game after Evolve with asymmetric gameplay where this concept worked, which is still proven by strong online. I don’t know how big online of Ghostbusters is now, but the number of Ghostbusters streams on Twitch, after only 4 months after the release, has dropped to the number of PHG streams, which is 3 years old.

You have a point there, the community is amazingly resilient and I am surprised as well of that. I don’t think Ghostbusters has nearly as close as many fans and players as PHG managed to gather, but you have to also take in account that plenty of people did not buy anything from Illfonic after the disappointment they had with the PHG experience and I don’t blame them in parts. The heck, I of many, pre-ordered so I might have the right to feeling duped.

Nevertheless, we win some we loose some, it was what it was and if the game has no more updates I strongly hope that Illfonic come to their senses and if they jump even with another good/capable/passionate studio on a second installment I sincerely hope they have a strong comeback in this sense.

Even a remaster or a Remake would be a good idea and done properly in this sense? I don’t know, just trying to debate ideas in a civilised manner (compared to the troll farm on duty this place has become) and as a fan of the franchise. Like many from here, probably.
