I pre-ordered this, and managed to buy a few things since they launched you idiot. What’s your issue if people like to have fun despite the aim/cheating users and all that?
Sure it’s not great but it’s manageable.
It’s playing a game for the sake of the franchise and as a fan of it.
I know, and pretty much everybody here does. But despite it being broken (and full of toxic, cheating idiots of all shapes and sizes) and all, it still works, people play it, it’s fun.
People enjoy it and I hope one day (by a miracle) the developers can fix and work on a port for free when it comes to PlayStation 5.
The best scenario I can think of is that the rights/IP gets sold to a better game developer. IllFonic has a long history and future of making cheap nostalgia bait cash grabs then quickly abandoning them and using the profits for the next cheap nostalgia bait cash grab. Forms a bit of a cycle or vicious circle so to speak.
Given how poorly thought out and excessively buggy/error-ridden this game is, a PHG remaster or PHG2 style sequel is more probable for a game team to make then to try to salvage this. It’s already a big pain editing preexisting code from another coding team, now imagine that but with this game’s spaghetti code.
A remaster or sequel would prove immensely popular if another dev team did it, predator fans were so hyped when this game came out and illfonic made a killing.

I refuse to buy any of their products, given how they repeatedly refused to show the barest shred of common decency or respect to their customers.
From what I’ve heard from various people is it’s pretty much going the same way we all here were at some point. A cursory glance at the games website and skimming through the patch notes summaries seems to confirm this, but I’m walking to get dinner, so after I eat I’ll take a closer look to confirm.

Well, IllFonic seems to target different audiences to sidestep that problem.
They haven’t even made another game forum since this one to my knowledge, likely because we spread the word about their nonexistent respect or customer service, and they wish to avoid the ability to spread that discontent to their target audiences in the future.

I believe I’ve said this before, but the issue arises when people like you… y’know… exist. It’s people like you that are the reason bread has instructions on it. Hell, it’s people like you that thought communism was a pretty good idea, and people like you that still think society as it is is perfect. It’s more indicitave of wider issues, basically.
