The interesting and BIG problem here is, what will happen with the folks that have the game for PlayStation 4 and some DLC already purchased.

How are they going to upgrade (is upgrading to current gen a possibility)?
Are they going to pay for the upgrade for current gen?
If upgrades are possible, what will happen to the DLC they already own on the previous gen?
Are the DLC part of editions as a pack (of what it’s available so far)?

Wouldn’t be amazed if they try to milk for money the fanbase and current players AGAIN in this matter.

I dont think they would make everyone buy the dlcs again, because that would be kind of a scam and they would get in legal trouble with PlayStation or smth like that

I surely hope they have a good strategy planned out regarding that.

As I see it, the possible upgrade would probably be made, if it will be available, with all the packs of characters there are so far…included.

Otherwise… it would be another type of major cluster fuck?!

Yeah. I have all the predator dlcs and 2/4 ft DLCs and i kinda dont want to pay for them all again.

This could either turn into a whole different game (PHG 2) or just a massive update that essentially turns what we have into an entirely new game

@TheSenate any info and news how Illfonic handles the other franchises so far? Ghostbusters? Arcadegeddon? Killer Klowns?

What’s the overall view on those projects on the way they manage things?

I think that they scrapped this. Nothing else had been released (trailers, info, etc) and now illfonic has announced their intent to focus on phg.

Oh fuck! Are they finally managing to wake up? I think franchise holders like 20th century / Disney are on their asses. From the looks of it.

Screw this im gonna go buy the last 2 DLCs i dont have, even if i dont use them. Illfonic actually needs the money for a good cause this time

Keep your money, think before acting! If the supposed upgrade, if one will be up, will cost about +20$ dollars, you will have your chance to actively support by the upgrade itself.

Makes no sense to buy anything anymore?

Yeah, you’re right. Better to wait to see if theres actually any improvement. If there is, i will happily buy everything

Heck, id pay 100 bucks (average cost of vault editions of latest COD games) to play a balanced phg with new maps and no bugs and active devs

I was talking with @Madisyn_Skye on the other thread and she/he mentioned it could be just a FPS and performance update, rather than a full cross platform for current gen. Still, it would be tricky for the PS4 users on that. The performance over PlayStation 4 is very poor, even if fixed. Must be the hardware.

The problem is, the game runs like crap in term of performance in some instances across maps during gameplay, currently.

They really need to fix it for PlayStation 4.

My old ass ps4 runs like a brick and sounds like an airplane taking off anyways, so i doubt i personally would see much change but hey a guy can be hopeful

Try cleaning it, for start. Also factory reset and reinstall everything fresh up to date? Usually does wonders.
