Well heres the thing, AI aren’t a big deal the real match is against the predator, so by having flesh ripper and body armor, there out of the way for the predator to come in and give them the real challenge (but I do understand that removing those 2 would create a much more interesting match thus literally being a battle for survival). Thick skin is just added health by 15 points, you get the same amount of damage like others do, it’s a perk that can help the scouts and recon more (wish it can be more of a personal perk inventory for classes that needs it). Heavy hitter, trust me I would like for it to leave since it’s super strong, but if the devs can change the stats drastically to where it flinches preds health by like at least 7 points but can still kill AI entirely, then I dont see a problem with sharpening the blade by a little bit.
Perks DO need to be revisited and changed
You need numbers and test. I think bane is only 10 percent increase. If there using supressors it just evens out. Dont get hit a lot you have a cloak and can attack anywhere. Mobility stamina and almost infinte heals. I do think the pistol and war club need buffs. Warclub does 30 30 then 70 and the wind up is slow asf. A think you should be able to tomahawk throw the warclub and increase its speed.
yeah… but bane is 40% increase if everyone is running it, and most everyone certainly is.
I think the Predator Perks need to have higher costs.
Where is the point of having 15 points available as a scout, if I can spend a maximum number of 12?
If skills like Inpenetrable would need 6 points to spend like the FT counterpart, most berserkers would need to think more about where to put some points to, while choosing a scout would certainly open some new possibilities.
This would also create more diversity among the predator loadouts.
light bender does not need a point increase for using the perk good grief. nothing about pred is even remotely op. hes just a bullet sponge. down range leaves? they literally nerfed the plasma caster. even a charged shot cant down someone. so no i dont agree on that. the effects of that perk aint even noticeable

But the high number of perk points are useless for the scout class, while they should be the opposite.
I love the using the scout for being so fast, but that’s all he offers, as I can use similar perk builds with my berserker AND have more health.

Removing things like down range is going to happen to help rebalance the game, and should be accompanied by rebalances all around. So dont look at changes like that on their own, they never will be alone, unless the devs go full retard.

Did I text anything about all perks needing to go indefinitely, no, I only stated that certain perks should be removed in order to balance out the match exp. Perks are good ONLY if it doesnt give either factions an advantage over the other.

To be fair, this post was made before the patches. I don’t know how the state of the game was back then. However, I would say most of FT perks give hardly any bonus except for OWLF training and Yautja’s Bane which are essential when facing Beserker spam to have any hope that one of us can survive long enough to force them back, so we can revive what’s left of us after the usual combistick parade dance on our asses.
i can triple parry a berserk sometimes and solo kill, if you go glass cannon build expect to be killed like glass

Boy tomorrow better have a long list of patch notes that addresses many of the issues, im keeping a low expectations so im not disappointed but wont play the game and just assume a marketing stunt.
