This has been odd from the jump , state of play etc and everything else around it , bad marketing and rushed . Like any meaningful resources were pulled early on it . Opting for 70% cheaper servers with how bad the matchmaking has been . Stating more than once about future content but putting out what they have , going 180 on the balance concern that they said would be addressed . Also look what they have added for fireteam and neglected pred? Looks to me that its due to this licencing that have barely touched him and if they have? Its cosplay preds
Yup and a bad comapany to develop it, Ill be damned if the game continues to get support or not, however they might gave also had a failsafe and planned for this ahead of time since the Epic exclusivity ends soon as well if the devs said they still have content coming for 2021 they probably allready knew about this lawsuit since the liscne was set to expire the 17th. But thats if they actually knew or were kept in the dark.
They have to get content apporved by the liscne hokders aka fox and Disney soo who knows at this point.
Either way the players were screwed over they knew what people would think in terms of âcontentâ related to this IP , if they said âon limited contentâ. Alot of people would have stayed away .

Regardless illfonic probably wasnât allowed to say much or have alot creative freedom due to liscne expiring soon, who knows maybe this will be turning point now that all the lose ends are fixed up, as much as I dislike the game rn, it would suck for game to die before its even reach its anniversary.

I know , I talk negative here because its something I was invested in . If I didnât care I would say anything . They are to blame for the state of balancing and bugs . So there is plenty of shit that could be slung at them , covid related? You could buy it for updates and patches taking longer , but the patches needing patches? Its no excuse for the quality of their work
Same Ive played since the beta I spent alot of time on this game shame for it not to make its anniversary.
Quality of the product is entirely on illfonic, the ONLY thing that isnt is content and what gets approved to be in game and what they can say.

Its about personal perception mate , they didnât say we would have A,B and C . But they know what we might have expected. If they said at launch it would be a mix of movie and cosplay? Fair enough , but people would be holding out for what else might have been . Jungle , city , elder and Dutch. Those alone would give people the impression that they can add a range of movie content . So the first 3 months included a handful of IP related items , for an online only game?
Thats true the intial wave of dlc was movie ip related and then they just said fuck it Samurai Predator.

Yup , if I sold you an online only game for some IP you were a fan of , and I only gave you one mode and a handful of the IP cosmetics? While saying future content etc ? It is sort of eluding you to âwell if there is so little at launch , they must have things lined up , if I can get those 4 items for such a larger IP ? Yeah I will stick aroundâ . 12 months and one map added and one mode . Bugs galore , broken matchmaking? It wouldnât be unreasonable to question it.
While a lawsuit isnât on illfonic whatsoever, alot of the issues are on them , and as inexpensive as the game was ? It hasnât been fit for sale , in my opinion anyway and beyond that it hasnât been the smoothest of rides either . Our money no matter what amount is valuable to us . It just stinks and as for people who have bought it in the last three months? I would be questioning refunds . Not that people from launch dont matter but we have had time to reflect on our choice đ
If any big triple a company did that they would be publicly shamed on twitter, 1 map and 1 new mode a year in is unacceptable.
