No proof. Don’t care. These guys could insta-spot me while perfectly still, in cloak, and long-range, several times and after retreating and re-approaching from different angles. Same guy. Insta-spot as soon as I had sight lines.

Just wanted to share my contempt for the fudge-packers that think themselves clever for manipulating a video game to remove any possible use of their tiny, tiny brains.
They are not traps, stealth works fatal in this game, surely they looked for you because of your noise and your invisibility that can be seen for miles …
I have only played the fire team once, but is there a CD to spotting? I have been spam-spotted before and wondered if it was someone who had just macro’d spot to every keypress.
Have the same experience. Insta-spot even without thermal mode, on the great distance, on trees, on roof, on the ground… everywhere.

Do the FT get a thermal, or are you saying there is some visible giveaway while using thermal?
No, this wasn’t just the guy predicting my angles. This was “Approach from North high cliff, peek head over SPOTTED!..Retreat. Circle away from camp. Approach from East bend, peer around building SPOTTED!..Retreat. Leave for 30 seconds. Circle to West side of camp. Perch on rooftop. Peer over rooftop SPOTTED!”

if you were in stealth, you make a lot of noise, many people hardly use stealth for that reason, it is sad that they see you less without stealth …
Its cause because you don’t understand how predator cloak is works. Its may you easy to spot while move or totally invisible if u stand without move. Experienced team knows the map and usual way to approach.
When you use thermal mode as a Predator (or better say Preydator lol), your eyes start to flash, so the Fireteam can easily see you even if you don’t move and using stealth.
I’m not an idiot and not a newb. I’ve more or less figured out how the cloak works and I know about moving vs. still visibility. It’s hard to explain the douchery that I experienced with words. You just had to be there, I guess.
Sometimes standing doesn’t work at all, I don’t know why, but the Fireteam spot me easily though I didn’t move. I even looked into opposite direction!

They can also find you with sniper rifles, if someone starts looking for you with the

I will copy my other post below, it may answer some questions but I wont deny existence of cheaters, as that is also truth, though havent noticed anyone cheating yet (lvl 60, no XP boosts).
If you are cloaked you generate A LOT of noise, I mean FREAKING GOD DAMNIT MASSIVE AMOUNT. It is also nicely direction too, allowing you to exactly pin point the location of the pred.
If you want to sneak up, dont use cloak.
If you want to engage but not be as visible, use it.
Cloak can sometimes be harder to see on brighter backgrounds (sky).
But really, anyone with a bit of gaming experience will pin point your location if you sit cloaked nearby and will indeed light you up.
Personally, I dont cloak as much as Scout, whilist getting closer to the FT, where I can harass them with a bow, disc if they happen to be hiding inside or plasma caster if they do group up in a obscured location (aoe). Only using cloak if engaging them and needing to lose the aggro by standing still and letting them run past me so I can retreat or just to create a bit of chaos.
I wasn’t using thermal, so I know that isn’t what gave me away. Maybe it’s worth noting that, when I made the initial cliff approach (which was a pretty wide cliff, so a lot of potential angles to take even from just it), there was a lot of leaf-cover from a nearby tree that was obscuring visual slight-lines. I could only see him from about chest-level down because he was obscured by some cover. He wasn’t looking directly at me when I crouch-peeked my head over the ledge, either.
Like I said, I have no proof and I must accept that. I just saw what I saw and the way it was interacting within the game didn’t seem like genuine skill/attention/luck. It seemed like a programmed response. That’s all.
People don’t like stealth in games. Look at HotS and what did they do with Nova, Zera, Valira… right now only totally blind persons can’t see these “masters of stealth” on the map. Same for the Pred. Noisy, bright as the Christmas tree, locked in animation on trees and in melee if parried… Balance T_T

Haven’t you noticed if that was a PC or PS4 player?
I honestly don’t remember…although if I’m accusing him of cheating/hacking, then odds are far better he was playing on PC.
