Please don’t make the jungle hunter 87 class only available through preorder, with all that is going on, I wasn’t able to pre order it, please just make it early access or instant unlock, I heard the helmet is available through crate drops, please make the class skin available through drops as well. Unfortunately I caught pneumonia and was paying for antibiotics and an inhaler, so I couldn’t pre order the game. I did buy the digital deluxe on EGS just to so I could maybe get it from that, but unfortunately it wasn’t in there.

I preordered because I wanted the blue war paint that came with the digital deluxe version and didn’t realize it was exclusive to it- I’ll trade ya lol

If they made it widely available so many people would rage. Hell, they raged at the fact the '87 bio mask can be received from lockers, though it’s a mythic so it won’t be easy to obtain.
This is just one of those situations where if you didn’t preorder you won’t get it. :(

I have visited the reddit as well as websites that are click baiting you to their website, and I have not seen anyone upset about the topic being discussed. I purchased the digital deluxe version, almost double what someone who pre ordered paid for, yet the content is locked off from me? Why is this still a thing? It’s so 2000! You don’t have to do that anymore!
Unfortunately I can’t give you my account, I bought my son too much content on fortnite, however, I’d be more than happy to create a new account buy the dd version and you and me can trade that way

Welp, this will be the last game from illfonic that I’ll be buying, I’m sick and tired of that practice and I’m just not going to support any company that locks off content bc they wanted to inflate their q2 earnings.

It’s not nearly as common nowadays. But if you’re just going to stop supporting devs and pubs that do that you may as well stop playing games lol.
So I went to that reddit post, and everyone but 1 guy seem to be cool with it. And I guess you’re right, no use getting emotional over it, it just sucks bc I grew up on alien and predator and commando and jurassic park etc. Just wish I had a time machine… the worst part is, if they wanted to, they could just either unlock it through lootboxes, or at least take it off my screen in the customization menu so I don’t have to keep looking at it
Honestly, coming from a guy who preordered and has the 87’ I couldn’t care less if they released him later down the road as a max level unlock or put him in the loot crates. Like in a month or two, so they could say he was exclusive for a decent amount of time.

Savini jason was a pre order bonus too and people cried all over the place for them to give it away but never happened… MAKE SURE TO PRE ORDER NEXT TIME!! The pre order was there for a long time too, they literally gave everyone a chance to pre order for like 4 monts or even more…
I made a point to pre-order digital deluxe edition for early access to the mini-gun and the ‘87 Hunter skin.
It wouldn’t be cool for those of us that did pre-order game, if it were made available to anyone whom didn’t pre-order. That would remove completely the incentive for Pre-ordering and piss off majority of early-adopters.
It’s bad enough there’s a mythic ‘87 Bio-Mask available for everyone, at least it’s Mythical and very difficult to obtain.
You might be able to buy a pre-order code from someone if you really are determined to get it. It sucks you were sick around launch, but to be fair Pre-order was available for awhile.
Pre-order bonuses have been standard practice for a long time by many game companies my dude, they need to boost sales somehow. It might come up for sale again at some point down the line. Savini Jason was originally just for kickstarter doners but then after popular demand it was temporarily put on sale on the backerkit store.
If they put 87 Hunter up for sale later I wouldn’t be bothered personally as it would support the devs, but if not they will most likely release some of the other movie skins as DLC down the line (hopefully!)
