I don’t mind the idea of buying skins/ DLC content. I see it as a way of supporting the game and the developers. If I enjoy a video game I have no problem throwing money at it. 👍🏻

15 minutes of grinding to earn one item out of hundreds of cosmetics, “yay”, maybe let me pick and choose what I want and buy it straight up? As I said, it’s cosmetics, not gameplay items, it impacts you in 0 ways. Why are you so against it that other people would have this option? You would still have your grindfest system and wouldn’t be forced to buy the cosmetics or currency if you don’t want with real money.
It’s fine when it’s actually Content. I have no problem with DLC Classes.
But this? No.

Why do you wanna spend money just to get something so insignificant faster? Would I want easier ways to get VT hell yes. Do I sound like I want to Grind 24/7? I’m sorry if I do, but if I wanted to Grind, I would be playing Warframe rn balls deep in Void Relic opening. This isn’t a Real Grind or whatever you’re making it out to be. it’s just collecting money in the match for 8 minutes.

You know how easy it is to grind VT? Private matches complete challenges and give your self boosted stats that’s it as the other xenomorph said it only takes 8 minutes to get good chunk of VT It would be cool to have a bp like system where you can get a good chunk of VT but when devs add the ability to purchase in-game currency they tend to reduce the amount you can get legit
if this is a problem for you play a different game

Takes like this are everything that is wrong with the Gaming Industry in the modern era and why we continue to get worse & worse monetary practices each year. Feel terrible about yourself, you are bad and should feel bad for asking for this. Why in the actual fuck are you asking for Microtransactions. Literally dumb as rocks and an outstanding endorsement of birth control. I have seen some shit takes in my time but I will never be as annoyed by a lot of them as I am whenever someone ASKS for Monetary Practices such as Microtransactions & Paid Loot Crates to be placed into any game. This is why we can’t have nice things. Get out of here before you embarrass yourself or the rest of us any further.

Because character customisation is one of the most fun aspects of the game. Getting the in game money or the items from the RNG boxes is one of the worst aspects of this game.
Why do you pay for music or movie? You do not get anything from it physically, but you do get entertainment, so having easy, fun character customisation and not an aggravating RNG / grind system is entertaining and fun.
And what’s so bad about that? Unless that mount has increased flying speed or something then yeh, it would call it non sense, but if only the looks are different, there’s no issue in having the option to buy it with real money.

I’m asking for an option to have them, they wouldn’t be forced, you would still have your old casino RNG / grindfest system if you want to go that route.

I play games for the gameplay, not for the grind.
I’d be happy if there were no locked cosmetics at all, everything already unlocked instantly and just choose whatever you like and just enjoy and focus on the ACTUAL GAMEPLAY and not thinking of how to get the most in game currency the fastest way which impacts the way matches are played etc…

or ifyou really want to help get the fuck away from my hobby as people like you are the reason it’s gotten so much worse over the past 4 years
people like you allowed this to happen:
- games to release in unfinished states becasue they know people will buy them anyway due to pre order bonuses and incentives
- More multiplayer titles and Single player titles to be rendered as “impossible to compete with their mutiplayer counterparts” so mutiplayer products are getting made with literal psychological methods to extract as much money from whales as possible
- do to less single player games there are less and less games with messages in their storytelling in the same way books and movies do which furthers people to think of this hobby as childrens toys and less for mature individuals
- more and more hostile monetization practices from lootboxes to XP boosts people are literally asking you to pay them to not play there game and are gunning for “whales” to fund their entire projects and not caring for the feedback of the average consumer which causes them to refuse to fix obvious problems with the game
- absurd video game expectations because sheep like you games get hyped to unrealistic measures (which causes some games to NEVER be made still waiting on HL3) and enforce the idea that games must look lifelike when artstyle trumps all this causes unhealthy crunch culture to meet deadlines as games must release in holiday to maximize profits which in turn causes disasters like Fallout 76 and Cyberpunk 2077 or assassin creed unity that’s not even GETTING to that the artists that make games are incapable of sticking to their vision to succumb tot their managerial overlords requiring to make as much money as humanly possible from whales like you
