Poll: Predator Stealth. (Read first reply for clarification on better/worse, Comment any ideas you have that I missed.)

Or those dang try hard premade pc fireteam that are borg minded mudding up at the same time and operate like a squad of real life ghosts

I said worse, but I only want very small changes to distance, medium range and small tweaks to close range, leaps mostly as they are incredibly hard to track on a controller at close range.

I actually think the long range cloak changes are near perfect and add to the experience, at close range I think the Pred player has to take some responsibility for their stealth, it’s to much of a gimme right now.

I think console should get a handicap like motion detector or heartbeat radar. Pred should clip in and out of the radar for ps4 players. Imo

I’m not really comfortable with that, for myself at least. Others might appreciate it. I just want a visual hint of which direction they’re going as they leap, currently at some ranges (or if there’s lag) Pred just vanishes, puff gone.

and thats the pred if he is spotted once against a good team… he will be melted in mere sec

I think the audio decoys should be every noise the predator makes footsteps, clicking, roars so you can trick the ft hell throw 2 decoys out in separate directions and watch the ft run towards one or the other and then pick them off with traps or net gun… i think the audio decoy itself needs a revamp or hell even let me use the mimic option on audio decoy… so you can have a ā€œover hereā€ ā€œover hereā€ coming from a bunch of directions… shit would be god like… but i don’t think people play like they want to get scared they play more so to melt predator unfortunately

Yea i dont even bother using the bears traps anymore… everytime i tryand use them like infront of the FT they just back up and shoot it…yet it’s like bro i threw them at your feet while you are running how the fuck are you going to stop and just blast it…but ok whatever…i think the bear traps should have never bee destructible just like the smart disc before. All his equipment is alien metal and shouldn’t be taken lightly…but oh well they will do what they do

I still find bear traps quite useful. They’re great for punishing campers and fireteam members at exfil.

Bro you’re the only one who thinks its the end of the world… 4 months of bullying the predator and this is the first time predators actually have a chance to fight back and here you are bitching they need to get nerfrd again…you literally just want to melt predators all day… well guess what predator players are going to get sick of this and then you wont have shit to play…and then you’ll just say oh well i got clash… yea that lagfy shit gane mode cool bro…your’e obviously one track minded…

traps are key to victory still… you still maange to land them

hard to visually spot lol… they come in e and light him up… you have all the tools to get the job done… its insane that hey all just want to snipe a pred like there hunting for pheasant. O look i second winded a predator with an overpowered gun with 3 shots yay

That’s why I’m not comfortable with my mini map showing me info. I’m good at chasing even with it being harder, tracking in combat is different though, less predictable. I just want a hint at the beginning of leaps so when they do go out of sight, I at least know which direction to look, to not get stabbed in the back.

I also think full invisibility is fine when crouch walking too, Pred’s should be able to reposition stealthily.

Ill be honest slasher. I understand where you are coming from as a console player when it comes to the highly limited turn speed and leaping. However leaping is very singular in its direction, and if you simply pay attention to how pred leaps you can tell the rough direction he leaped. The only thing that really makes it rough is that pred can leap at different distances.

Thats why it concerns me to have an indicator to further show preds leaping direction, i feel that it will make it very difficult for pred to maintain a sense of confusion when in high mobility situations, while offering little skill to those who utilize such an indicator. Thats subjective though.

On a more objective note, it would be very difficult to implement an indicator honestly. Im not sure how they would do it without it being too strong, useless, or janky.

Needs buffing

Slasher that’s a horrible idea.
There would be no point in leaping then.

This one is incredibly ridiculous.
For a pve game maybe, but for pvp this is a terrible idea.

the last question, with the new layer, is over. The clics and the steps are fine, if we cant find It with our eyes, you let us hear. who would send deaf and blind soldiers to combat ??? also with all the information that owlf has, it did not occur to them to use IR sights ???

I wouldn’t have a problem with 80m. My personal experience is it’s fine where it is but I’ll yield on it because its a good point that snipers are useless now
