If you’ve already used the code, care to post a picture of the box where it says that? You could also just edit the code out either way. I never ordered the figure as I seen they said it would be available later in the summer, but I’d like to see what everyone is saying. I googled for a picture but couldn’t find anything.

That just says the code is exclusive like the only way to get the code is buying the figure. I dont think it means the latter

To be fair they didn’t say they wouldn’t release him later (in this specific article)

But at the time he was exclusive and would have remained exclusive if not for international people not being able to get the initial release due to covid-19

Exactly what I’ve been saying. It says nothing about the class being exclusive. Its all just assumptions on his part. No where in anything he’s posted says that no one else will ever get it. Its just his assumption that the code was the only way to get it, substantiated by nothing whatsoever.
Jungle hunter is always will be exclusive, stop this stupid shit. Alpha was never advertised as exclusive by Illfonic, the same day the code was announced they specified he would be released later on in the summer which it was.

Yeah its a shame that they are not clear as to whether or not Jungle Hunter will ever be released as either a paid or an unlock but it seems strange that they wouldn’t push for a paid release, I mean no one that pre-ordered it paid any extra for him and why would they not want extra money from those of us that missed the pre-order? And having the players pay for him after the fact does not invalidate the Pre-Order marketing because the people that pre-ordered did get him exclusively and for no additional cost so I don’t see the whole legal argument over that especially because they never said that they would never release him later either.

They promised preorder players that we would get an exclusive 87 predator. If they take that away we would have grounds to sue them for it.

And how many other games have released Exclusive Pre-Order Content after the release of the game? Or in a GOTY edition? Did all of those get sued by the player base? I don’t think so again I don’t see the argument here.
If anything I could see it being a paid DLC on the Anniversary of the game in 2021 that would make the most sense TBH I doubt he’ll ever be free again that I see being Exclusive to the PO.

Cause it wasn’t worded as exclusive. Some use bonus, early access, unique. Exclusive means exclusive. If you say “preorder exclusive” it can not legally be released again let alone cost money.
Still think he shouldn’t be released and it’s about integrity.
I’m stubborn though.
I call BS on that, one example I can give you is from an older game at this point but, if you Pre-ordered MGS:Revengeance you got exclusive access to the Gray Fox Skin and Sword there was no way to get him any other way, that is until they released it as a paid DLC way later along with the so called Exclusive sellers costumes(amazon, best buy, ECT) that were also released as paid dlc after the fact even when the wording was EXCLUSIVE. TBH unless specifically stated “this is never going to be released again” then exclusive means for as long as we decide that it is. But who knows I don’t have any sort of legal background to substantiate my claim just personal exp.
