There was some stuff that didnt look good about it tho.
I was considering buying it, but then something about the way it played drew me off.

But ya I’m not sure il have to watch game at again, it was like the movement or combat.
Mind you this was the very first stage do it might get better?
I just didn’t like what I saw.
As for what games, there was one series about zombies, but the last one, escape from metro city or something was really good.
There was another one where you were a mutant, it was turn based, and so many different classes and choices.
I’m bad with names but these are just 2.
But ya basically from 2000-2014 I wanna say, there was just entire games and series that if those indie devs got funding, would be on par with full fledge games.

Oh ya. First stage enemies literally walk into you for their attacks.
Enemies start to get more complex as you go through.
Plus the main appeal of combat are the bosses (but to be fair that most games anyways for me)
Oh I didnt mean the enemies I meant the player character.
Oh ya. You get double jump, dash, dash is so important. You get it after the 2nd boss (depending on pathing) and it serves as your main movement ability. You can get a charm that allows you to walk faster, another upgrade that makes you invulnerable during dash (and able to move through enemies) and a super dash that lets you fly across the screen.
If the teenaged girl will have the same advantages as the FT on PHG, the Predator won’t be much of a fight…

On a more serious note what did you expect? They destroy franchise after franchise. The latest Terminator movie had a petite girl replacing John, a skinny ass person (not sure how she identifies since she made a point of choosing men clothes), an old woman and finally a T-800 made into a house wife (no joke). I could not believe it.
Get ready for the teen girl explaining to the predator about his male privilege and putting him into a head lock… I mean after they explained how autism is the next stage in human evolution nothing would surprise me…

What the hell happened to movies like mulan, pochahontas, and Alien where they didn’t have to tell the audience how strong and nonconforming their lead roles are? It was just a plot point and they didn’t sit around patting themselves on the back and use all these same tropes where the male characters are either evil or incompetent and strong women do nothing wrong. Just weird propaganda/empowerment peices that feel like a cold war era superman story no one wants to read or watch that BS.
Its like these people aren’t even focused on telling a story anymore and its just social commentary with predator in it. This is going to be the wonder woman '82 of predator lol. Right down to the strong woman not being reliant on fighting and talking down the villain by making everyone see how right she was. She probably won’t even have to fight the predator. I get predator shows up as a third party in action movies but no thanks.
This guy directed Cloverfield lane which had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH CLOVERFIELD OUTSIDE THE LAST 5 MINUTES OF THE MOVIE, IT WAS JUST A FORGETTABLE KIDNAPPING MOVIE.
If using the word masculine in a synopsis more than twice isnt a red flag I don’t know what is.

It was the double use of ‘gender norms’ that set alarm bells going for me.
I think it’s safe to say we all know which way this movie is likely going. Oh well, hopefully the Pred looks like a Pred in this one at least, and doesn’t have stupid gold & silver, blingy armour.

I would disagree about the macho guys fighting pred angle cause it would just be a recycled pred1 with some forced humor.
I think something different is needed. I don’t mind the current storyline, just object to pushing the social narrative hard. We didn’t need to know that at this point. Pred franchise sells itself.
I don’t expect it to be a sophisticated movie either and it’s not going to make tons of munny. It is what it is

Peacetime, lack of wars and conflict so people invent their own problems and call them “gender norms” so they can be the hero of their own story by battling imaginary societal constructs in their own head.
Really though i’ve never been so baffled by plot summary. This should be a meme.
