I do not and never will own Alien 3 or Resurrection. Resurrection is unwatchable. 3 is just boring as crap. I also own both Avps. Guilty pleasures.

In his defense xenomorphs on modern earth makes no sense and high schoolers fending off xenomorphs with modern day smgs is just awful.

Why even adapt AvP if you’re going to use a pizza guy instead of colonial marines?

The whole point of colonial marines is that they’re stereotypical grunts given the most expensive equipment to defend expensive assets.

Explosive tipped automatic armor peircing rounds, tanks, gunships, etc are complete overkill for the bandits and wildlife they usually deal with but they’re defending colonies which are very expensive corporate assets. The weapons are so overkill that you don’t really need a brain to use them so colonial marines think they’re the bees knees mowing down local wildlife with the most expensive military-grade gear available to humanity.

But didn’t the female colonial marine with the bandana around her head use a 911 pistol (I don’t know guns lol sorry) against Xenomorphs? That would have been a pretty outdated firearm for that time period and it was killing the Aliens

Yup, the entire thread is just gamers being upset about women in their movies.
The only legit critique of “woke” culture can be found in an argument that capitalists try to snitch away the progressive agenda from the left to de-radicalize it with the likes of “Beauty and the Beast” remake where the whole fight against the patriarchy is boiled down to “women can read”. Get intersectionalism back from capitalists, radicalize, unite.
