I see. What if you concentrated the fire with an SMG towards like somewhat similar direction of where you’re hitting your target on its body?Wouldn’t that be enough to penetrate its exoskeleton?
Maybe if the SMG is loaded with hollow point bullets or fmj? I don’t think you’d even be able to kill a grizzly bear with a fmj SMG before it mauled you though, much less an xenomorph. No stopping power other than hoping you hit something vital.

There is - let me say that as loud as possible - NO INDICATION OF WHAT THE CHARACTERS ARE. There is a brief explanation of the dynamic between the twins - and that’s it.

She probably hit the mouth. The weakest point of an Alien, body shots would also work. But as you said bullets to the carapace would bounce off
