Aren’t Russian horror movies the ones that don’t hold back and show true horror like real gross stuff?
Predator 5 is fucked already and I'm heartbroken.
I just looked it up , your right its apocalypse now . Two war movies so I was close 😄
I’ve not watched many Russian horrors that I can think of
Probably why Genndy Tartakovsky gets away with the awesome stuff he puts in Primal xD
This movie had the best crunchtime production between the dead rats and cadavers.
"There had been rumours on set, but producers had dismissed the idea as ludicrous, until they investigated a terrible smell coming from the prop store. They discovered a row of cadavers all laid out in a tent not far from where everyone was eating. The prop guys were convinced that they were going to hang the bodies from trees to add authenticity to the upcoming scenes. It turns out they had bought the bodies from a local man who supplied hospitals with cadavers for medical training. However a visit from the police revealed that the man was really a grave robber. "
Italian films are known for their brutality
Can’t think of any Russian horror movies off the top of my head
Plus Dennis hopper out of his mind on drugs
Same its always the italians, lowkey gorehound thread
I remember watching a few Italian zombie flicks back in the day
That’s nothing compared to Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 🤣
Tear it all down!!
I think the original dawn of the dead ended up being called out for using a real body aswell?
Yeah , god knows what he was on then 😄 john carpenters the thing is a classic for the ages , but I cant help to wonder what tobe hoopers the thing would have been like
You may be thinking of Return of the Living Dead
They ate real calf brains in that movie
They might have in Dawn also
I know Savini used hamburger and stuff like that
It wasn’t a full body but it was a real skeleton that they thought was a prop . I remember they ate various things in the romero films
Day of the dead had some of the most intense gore i can remember
When they ripped that guy apart
My poor 5 year old self 😅
Ha I would have been around the same age , its when the guy was screaming as they ripped him apart and his voice goes high pitched . The good ol days huh. Shit parenting but front row seats for us in cinematic history I guess
I had a field day in the video stores bypassing the family movies and going straight to the horror section 😂
Although I did watch plenty of family movies too
Yup , kids these days don’t know the thrill of the hunt to find old vhs movies in stores or people selling them at car boot sales/yard sales . There were only 4 tv channels until I was around 10 years old 😄
If you missed a movie to record it off tv you had to wait another 6 months until it was on again , if you were lucky
