Oh ik, but us as Predator fans and by extension AvP fans should know these stories and at least be like “Well, it makes sense”, when Predator and Alien especially are known to have female characters on the forefront, and on Alien’s case, probably started the whole damn thing.

I’m talking about just the art style but still has a typical pred feel.
It’s not about the character being female. It’s the fact that it’s a teenager going against gender norms in a camanche tribe killing a Predator.
Edit: note, going against gender norms isn’t inherently bad but modern movies don’t have a good track record

What’s the issue with that? I’d rather have a teenager best a Predator in combat, who are known to be very overconfident and all the hallmarks of a classic Pred Movie than little kid finding a Predator Mask and getting chased by Pred-Bane who wants his autism.

Joking aside, I know there’s good anime, but I’m just not a big fan of the way faces tend to be drawn. I know I’m in the minority though as Japanese culture has done very well over the past couple of decades.

But if a predator fights the bear it could be like a really cool scene that’s in the revenant when they’re like kind of rolling and tackling each other, sort of thing and stabin the bear’s neck and the bears just straight up mulling the Predator with its claws and teeth. Idk I think that’d be dope

If it’s the over the top expressions. I can understand that.
Me I love the artwork tho for anime and manga, because it looks cleaner than say normal comics.
My favorite one tho I’d have to say is the old hand drawn looks of anime from the 80s and 90s.
