To be honest the mask in the screenshot doesnât look anything like a predator mask design by its original traits, but some of the vertical grooves look similar. not identical but similar.

Itâs not the first time that this was visited in the Predator series.
I donât see the Predator doing jokes itself, and the last time it was visited, it was genuine dark humor like in that one deleted scene from AVP where Scar gave Lex a jump scare of the dead xenomorphsâ secondary jaws getting activated via muscle twitch.
Plus, the Predator series always had some humor in it, I mean look at the first two films. Especially Bill Paxtonâs work in the second one.
New variant? You mean the Predator Chief? I donât see it different from the Elder or Ancient Predator. Itâs also words from people who arenât deep into the series too so itâs just words they are using to describe the best they can. Itâs why I was confused with the âhuman gangs with laser riflesâ cuz how can there be gangs in a death alien world unless they confused gangs with mercenaries. We did have someone erroneously describe the T-Rex in the new JW Rebirth film to be able to breath fire, so I expect some wording to not be correct either.

And as far as humor i was more leaning toward that new age âhumorâ of corny jokes that are supposed to be funny but arent cus the humor in p1 and p2 is different humor that 2018 predator where its jus dumb i laughed at mayne like 1 or 2 jokes outta that whole movie but thas jus me so idk guess we gonna jus have to wait and see. And speeder bike made me think of star wars like those troopers in the woods then we got the predator image with a hood (id rather them pump fake us and thas jus really fanning) lookin like a sith lol or like symbiote said, scorpion or sub zero lol
