I think they gonna keep this formula for predator movies now -_-

I’m alittle on the fence, while I did enjoy PREY for what it was. However imma sit back and wait still, remember how bad the synopsis for PREY originally sounded but we got something alittle better upon release? That’s what I’m kinda hoping for in this new Predator movie.

Yea same here but seems like this is gonna be the new formula for predator which is kinda annoying and if they change the base design again thas gonna start on the wrong foot.

Tell me about it, predator is jus a punching bag at this point smh

I wouldn’t jump to conclusions with so very little news. I doubt it will be as bad as it seems. We all thought Prey was going to be shit and its the best film in the franchise next to the original, some even placing it above, sacrilegiously. Let’s wait until a better synopsis comes out, maybe with some photos and footage, before doomsaying.

Next to the original? Lol damn i had it after predators. Yea prey sounded bad at 1st and ended up being better, still not better than pred 2 and predators at least to me. To each thier own tho.

I don’t get it. Everybody loves Vazquez from Aliens. She was a fucking badass. If Aliens was done Today, Vazquez would have been classified as “non-binary”, so what’s the big deal? Y’all getting all worked up over non-sense.

Female non-binary is just a nicer way of saying butch or dike

Why include that anyway tho? Yea vasquez was a badass but why is the need to include made up terms a must?

because the ones in charge have an agenda to push

for the same reasons people no longer say midget, re-tard, etc.

is just how society works. all languages evolve, this is not a new thing, a word becomes pejorative because of how society uses it, not when is coined.

in 60 years you can bet saying “non-binary” or gay is also going to be considered pejorative, and they will use another word for it

If you want a bad ass tough looking female character like Vazquez in Aliens or Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2, you can’t say “we want a tomboy butch looking girl” because that will create an outcry in the media and create a PR nightmare… so what do you do instead? you ask for a “non-binary” FEMALE.

Think about it, if they were really wanting to push “the agenda” they would have probably ask for non-binary whatever, or “non-binary” male

The target audience of these franchises are mainly men, and men will cry far more for a Gay or feminine lead actor than they will for a gay or masculine lead actress.

Thats a fair point, but this is more of an agenda that is being pushed by multiple entertainment outlets like music, movies, shows, etc. If it was grass roots it would be a lil more believable. It wasnt a thing until recently.

The movie MAY be better than the synopsis implies, but its a tired formula that isnt being well recieved, except by a small minority.

The whole “agenda” thing seems to be strictly against the lbtg community.

They put out there castings for latinos, black, asians, and nobody bats an eye. Nobody screams “they are pushing an inclusive agenda”. The only outcry is for non straight characters. And is not like all characters on all movies and series are like that. Is usually one or two in a handful of movies and series released

Its not tho its aimed at changing established characters whether thier an original white, black, etc character then changing it on purpose. Theres alot of examples i can use, but as far as lgbtq ppl its when its pushing something on ppl. John travolta is gay but he plays characters in movies we all like so its not against someones preferance its the substance of a character vs changing it and then making it all about that.

As far as for this upcoming predator movie the gripe, for me atleast is making the characters female and not in a sexist way but in an unbelievable way. The main character is gonna be that girl from super 8, does anyone really believe she gonna smoke the pred? Naru, although had subtle girl boss themes wasnt totally a flawless character so it made it more believable and even tho there were some “no way” moments i was willing to overlook somewhat cus it was a decent movie

where the fuck do you get that from? He was married to a woman and has 3 children. She died a few years ago and after being married for almost 30 years, do you blame him for remaining single?

What is it with society unwillingness to accept there are straight men out there that prefer to not be in a relationship? The same shit was said of Keanu Reeves. Nobody cared that he lost the love of his life when she was pregnant and that traumatized him. No, he’s single and women love him, he must be gay.

Lol chill bro maybe im thinkin of another actor but i coulda sworn it was him that came out gay. Either way point is thiers gay actors and they dont let that get in the way of playing a good character vs today where seems like they all wanna be activists which nobody cares to see in entertainment

And people just outcry without even knowledge. People were “disgusted” by Frenchie’s portrayal in the last season of the Boys, because it was “forced”… nobody who complained about that actually read any of the comic books, because in those, Frenchie’s like a thousand times more gay/bi/whatever.

Nobody complained also, about the gender inversions on most characters, because at the end of the day, THEY DON’T CARE. Is just the gay ones they care about and like to complain and bring up
