I jus know when they gender, race, sexuality, etc swap on established characters itsnever well recieved because i like many other think if you wanted to make a ____ character than do that, but dont be changing up established characters for the sake of “inclusivity”

Yea ppl dont like the race swaps either so idk why you think its strictly against lgbtq unless those lgbtq actors are more focused on social issues and pushimg a message nobody cares about then youd be right. Take star wars, lord of the rings, and all the rest where they race swap or push socual justice messages and make the story based around those issues is tired, lazy, and always produce a shit show.
I think it would be inclusive and progressive for wakanda to finally have a white black panther, they have been an racist ethnostate for too long

I think its because I’m old, or I just grew up differently, but I could give a shit less about terms like “non-binary” and what kind of sex/race/preference/whatever the actor or character is. I’m here for the story, I’m here for the product. The lead actress could be black, buzzcut, buffed out, total Vasquez and makes references to eating beaver with a sock stuffed in her pants and it wouldn’t make any difference to me. I wanna see the Pred wreck shit and then go up against this andro-beast.
Like I get there are companies and films that are very obviously pushing some kind of agenda. Some are subtle, some are glaringly obvious. But me personally I don’t pay super attention to them, I’m there for what the film provides, not what it’s pushing. I want the entertainment, not the politics.

The only reason they push agendas are because those people are cheaper by the dozen, won’t complain that they are because they themselves are boring and haven’t been working much, and the hupla feeds the controversial banter machine until it finds an audience and the audience aren’t film watching geeks, they are just useless followers of something that could suddenly shine a little light in their lives.

Its going to be the same story again where pred will kill all the men in the area, but won’t find the gals a threat or worthy. Then their revitalized self esteem will give them near superpowers and they’ll defeat the pred. Any guesses how pred will die this time around?

Prey had good elements, I think it’s on par with predators, Predator 2018 sucked balls
Predator 2 is my favorite in the franchise, 100%. I grew up with 1 and 2 on late night tv in the 90s, but Pred 2 always stood out more. I’m glad its been getting more respect over the last number of years, it really does deserve it.

Prey imo is a franchise highlight, and really put some much needed blood back into the franchise after 2018. The concept, the cinematography, the Pred design, the weapons, the kills, the fact you can watch it in the native language to better immerse yourself into the characters…its some good shit.
Ngl I crusted a few socks over Amber Midthunder during the film’s release, I think that was a big part of shaping my opinion as well.
