Anyway, it’s scant details. It’s not enough to make a good judgement on the upcoming film, hell its even less info compared to the last leak of Prey. How about yall just chill and wait until we get more info in. I swear yall fighting ghosts that don’t exist: pushing an agenda, yeah man don’t worry the super soldier antifa-soldiers backed up by the outer dimensional vampires lizard people sent from Hiliary’s asshole to install the new world order to inject the gay into your dick will come in any day now

So here’s how pred will be defeated.

The gals, even in different environments will be exposed to the rabbit and turtle race story and it will play a key role in their upbringing. They will not be awkward/a tad overweight teens and after hearing this story will overcome their social impediments with hard work and smarts. Jumping ahead to the endgame, preds mask will be damaged so s/he won’t be able to use thermal. Gals will beat him down in similar fashion as turtle and rabbit race where there were a few turtles used and rabbit didn’t know about them. Coup de gras will involve one of them luring pred with 'kill me, I’m right here’s when cornered, while the other will stab him with a combi saying ‘get away from her you bitch’.

It’s a rough draft, but I think I got something here.

Disagreeing with an opinion is getting owned? Guess I was too generous in giving you the benefit of the doubt of being a dumbass.

Anyway, I seen one of the locations in New Zealand Hamurana Springs Nature Reserve and it has alot of interesting and diverse spots like hot springs, swamps, caves with bioluminescent algae, snowy mountains. It seems like its going to be a interesting environment to explore around.

I think I can understand the whole “adventure” aspect they are trying to get if this is what they are going to show us. New cyberpunk colony future in an alien planet with all sorts of things out there. It’s all guess work tho but it all seems promising.

Anyway those pics of new zealand look like a good setting for a predator movie hopefully the movie is better than the synopsis leads one to believe. They did kinda do the same thing with prey but there was no “strong comedy chopps” descriptions in any of the characters so alot of ppl are getting 2018 the predator vibes -_-

As someone pointed out to me, its understandable to react to the comedy chops thing since 2018 was just that fucking flaming trash, but the first two films had bits of comedy too so who says we can’t go back to that form. Plus Shane Black isn’t in charge of this script so at least we aint going to see that level of garbage here, least I hope we don’t, Dan is at the helm for this one.

The comedy in the other movies werent predator 2018 levels tho they were subtle. Thas true tho shane isnt in charge of the script so hoping for the best but prepared for the worst which is not building my hopes up. I jus dont see how that girl from super 8 gonna be fuckin up a predator. I wish the predator would win for once

I mean it’s the near future, probably with some future tech of some kind alongside using her smarts. Power armor maybe? There is so many ways that this can go about, I’m just waiting to see what’s up before I make any final thoughts on this. People trashed Prey due to the leaks at first but it went on to be a huge success, whenever people disliked it for personal reasons, it revived the series and brought new people into the fandom.

Yea thas true i was on the fence after seeing the plot leak but was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out so im hoping the same happens here. Someone mentioned waiting to see clips or pics of the sets and stuff which id agree with. Those pics you put up are badass tho id hope they do use some of those spots would make for good back drops. My only main gripe with prey was the horrible face design and the flintlock backstory, he looked badass with the mask but soon as it came off it was like damn keep that mask on lol and the flintlock i felt would of been a good movie if they used the comic and would give us a look at an elders backstory

Luckily in an interview, Dan heard the feedback on the face design and said he’ll look into making better, so I’m hoping for proper mandibles and a look similar to the classics like in the first two films.

Nice that easily makes me already a lil more optimistic about it. Hopefully in prey 2 they correct the flintlock story cus it has to end up in elders hands somehow

The predator doesn’t get fucked up by humans in any movie.

In the original is a lucky situation Dutch takes advantage, but he was already beaten.
In Predator 2 Harrison plays dead at the end, he was beaten, when he cuts the predator’s hand it was pure luck he had the disc and a situation that made it possible.
In Predators Isabelle shots it from a distance while Royce was getting beat
Let’s not talk about AvP Movies, shall we?
The Predator… let’s not talk about that either.
Finally in Prey, same thing, just outsmarting the pred.

So, girl outsmarting the pred? Yeah. That’s the whole point of it. After all, Yautja’s are searching the galaxy to hunt the best prey to LEARN from them.

Did the predators ever win tho? And i guess its semantics because technically no they didnt get fucked up but they lost i wanna see one win for a change everybody already expects the predator to lose in the movies by the end. And if i was gonna nit pick, in prey she got her leg chewed up by that bear trap so really she wouldnt be able to be jumpin around like that, but its been mentioned that leading up to the climax fight the predator had taken alot of damage through out the movie so it wasnt completely outta the realm that she beats him but jus the jumpin around was a “hell naw” moment lol

you are asking Hollywood to change their business money making formula bro… that’s just not gonna happen. Nobody wants to see the antagonist win. If they make the predator “win” they’ll make it the hero (or anti-hero) first, which you’ll probably not gonna like either.

Fair point, idk its jus predictable where ppl are already expecting him to lose. I like twists in movies cus alot of the times its easy to see whats comin next so i appreciate when they catch me by surprise when they do go for a twist. Wut you guys think the plan is for prey 2 tho? Think thier gonna fix the flintlock or how it ends up in elders hands? Elder, even tho didnt have a lot of screen time is my favorite one so i got a bias for wanting to see a movie based on him. I woulda liked to see the 1718 in movie form tho

Its likely that they have wins in Predators setting. Only Noland, Royce and Isabelle and maybe a few others survived longer, but supposedly all other prey was killed.

And Noland was eventually killed too.

Its implied in the end credits of Prey that a ship with more Preds lands and encounters Naru’s tribe, I assume they kill her off and take the flintlock as a trophy. Still retcons Golden Angel’s comic, sadly, but this could be where he gets it, or starts the process where he eventually does.

Yea but thats all off screen i was wanting there to be a movie and the climax fight either the predator wins or even if they both kill each other like in predators.
