I suppose thats rarely the play in these types of movies. Look at xenomorph, Jason, Michael, Freddy, Terminator. They all lose only to come back. Same goes for any villain in supe universe.

They better not make it a tribe vs tribe war film. That shit doesn’t fit with how Predators do things. Its what makes Predators unique to other aliens in fiction, they don’t do the alien invasion shit, they just wanna run the ones on the toughest that the planet has to offer.
Never actually seen The Predator, and some will say that a good thing, but I think there was way for pred to win there and escape (read the plot, loosely). Pred would have been the prey in this setting and his goal would be to get to the ship, ditch the killer suit and leave. Would need to set it up so that the main human crew mostly survived, but falls short of killing/recapturing pred. Movie would still suck, but it would be a pred win technically as he was not on a mission for trophies or a suicide mission just to deliver the suit.
