No matter what, these kinds of people will NEVER be happy. If he did, people will trash on the old formula film for not being like the OG or say that the old formula film will never be like the OG. Its a real no win situation with you. Just best to make something new and interesting, and people love it.
And no, I got no feeling of family friendly from any of this. If the androids were human, nobody would be saying this with all the neck breaking, limbs getting torn up, spine ripping, and other mutilations that is happening here. It would be just called a dark comedy or something. Literally its just because the blood isn’t red, that’s it. Same shit was with GXK The New Empire that they had to make the blood green instead of red or else it would have gone R rated.

Just watched it. It’s okay. Enjoyable. The typical outcast/runt backstory not so different from the million times we have been told the same story over and over. I don’t get why people call it woke and shit. It has nothing to do with it, nor homo, nor trans, not any of that shit. Seems like people will just call woke anything they don’t like

Like don’t get me wrong, I didn’t like some of that PG13 ness in there, but it mostly worked in a way that really didn’t annoy me. Would like to see a more grittier R rated Predator POV in the future for sure. Rather this film isn’t the WOKEz GarbAGE MSHEU reactionary nonsense that people keep lying about. There is no romance here, there is no family friendly made for kids story here, its still in the realm of the Predator series and they do some kills that would earned the R rating if the blood was red.
I mean Badlands first started off as a WWII movie of a Predator hunting Nazis so its not like he was plotting the downfall of the series or anything, just simply decided to tell the story in a more unique way. I still want that WWII movie though.

Well im gonna see it tonight so gonna see. I hope im pleasantly surprised, but knowing im not gonna like certain things and also aware i will like other things. The concept of hunting alien species on another planet is awsome you wont hear me trashing that but what i dont like is the family soap opera aspect, the baby yoda addition, apparently fannings character who doesnt shut up and supposedly has that unfunny super hero “comedy”, a lil tid bit i heard about an improvised plasma caster, the predator language, or predator talkin about his feelings. So like ive said from the start im sure ill really enjoy the action, but everythin else will annoy me especially that design, i still havent and dont think ill ever warm up to it.
As far as not being R rated i mean yea its kinda a let down but at the same time avp 1 wasnt R rated and i still liked it to a degree although the R rating and gore woulda made it that much better and wouldnt of hurt it. I would like to see a wwII movie as well tho, til then theres always these 2 which i felt were better than dans versions of the vikings and WWII (air) were
