That was an old post. Yes, after 1.11, I think slam is in a good place. I think the spear should be destroyable, like the disk. Also, I think the yautja bow should have less ammo, like 15, and the arrows also destroyable.
All that said, they can leave the damage alone, now that slam is weaker. It should just be a resource battle.

I feel like the game is pretty balanced now. All that’s left is for Illfonic to fix the pig system and the other glitches in the game.
Like someone else mentioned, it seems that PS4 fireteam players are getting better now. They’re proving to be almost as tough as their PC comrades.
The game is too easy agaisnt 4 ps4 as pres but hard against pc. Combi is fine, slam is super risky (it’s fine as well) and the bow is the only real skilled weapon of the predator , why would you nerf it? Maybe improve the aim assist in console and nerf reinforcements to help predator against pc pkayers…
stick is a joke tbh against a good FT lol, I only use the stick form vs weaker teams at this point. It should be unlocked sooner with it’s lackluster melee performance compared to the starter gauntlet.

Some issues aren’t about balance. It’s how people play the game. Seems like every time I try to be a good predator (lots of downs and stealth kills) they end up just running to the chopper after 4-5 mins. Or they camp on those fucking warehouse doors or any other camp spot with 4 medic bags on the ground so most of the time I just try to kill them in the first few minutes.

the only reason why im mad about that also is cause thats the only fun way to have fun lmao as pred imo… like literally people mainly play breserk now cause he is only enjoyable to play as not for his melee only or how he can jump in and kill everyone… he cant but he can in a way u either get second winded or almost to second wind but dont risk it… which is again pretty bad way to play the game or just boring…
Also @Schoolboy_Skeptik sorry to say this and i dont wanna be offensive but ARE U OUT OF YOUR MIND??? Like dude listen i dont think they should be able to break the combi, bows as smart disc can be breakable… i dont even agree smart disc should even be breakable in game… The arrows should however have a 50 50 chance of breaking on landing so you cant retrieve them… Combi stick however not…
Like what you are proposing to me right now sounds you wanna limit the predator even more… like his actual tech to be more limited and decreasing fun chances… but oh well thats me… again no offense i just had rough week lmao and game did not help a bit with healing it hahahaha… ah…
Not to mention that fireteam still has practically infinite heals… i can confirm i am also seeing people putting like 4 bags of health bags on ground and just like refilling them with that big ammo crate (sure u can destroy it but do you have time to do so?)… im pretty sure that i recall calculating like 2 x 4 = 8 (which is per user… now most of people i see when i play fireteam rock like ammo bag or health bags… so 2 players have acess to 2 bags per each player… so that makes 4 x 4 (16 uses) combined that with them having that big ammo crate that can supply also 4 times of everything they have in loadout… that makes it like what 8 x 4 (32 uses for players healing them full health)

Now the math here can be tricky as the numbers depend highly on FIRETEAM metas… but most of them run with med bags and ammo…
In general this can go upto 64 uses of medkits for fireteam which heals them fully and also med bags are not destroyable… and not gonna mention that those big ammo crates can be found on multiple places on the map… and you basically dont have actual time to manage to destroy everything good for fireteam on the map cause in the meantime they will speedrun the objectives while you try to disable their support items…
Yo only the syringes can be restored at ammo boxes, not the bags.
And i can keep going like this all day lmfao… i just made up my mind about it cause its obvious devs want to make fireteam even out with pred… BUT in general judging from gear uses… predator is on like a 40% loss here… xD he cant resupply… he gets around 8 pigs on the map that heal him roughly 70-80% … and this is not even formal… pigs sometimes dont even spawn

I just had a record breaking death. 11:39 he was a scout with a sniper and vector. He was able to chase me all the way across the map. Once he starting shooting me my health literally completely drained. Where is the balance in that?
But in general if they changed some shit about it, the reinforcements still resupply them fully… syringes and ammo box med bags
Ah damn for me it was 10:42 on derailed speedrun… thats rough but now i atleast know they can do it earlier
