I forgive Dan. All is forgfiven. I just like his face.
the rotten tomatoes review has fallen to 85%
Thats a surprise.
It’s an amazing movie. Lots of lore, gore and action. Good writing too, it does his work well in telling a simple but very entertaining story, honestly can’t wait for more.
I’ll watch it again this weekend for sure.
About to go watch it soon, I’ll leave a review afterwards
Just saw it in IMAX I thought it was fire. Action from beginning to end with a story that makes the protagonist Yautja (Dek) very relatable. Although he is an alien that has a warrior culture with laws, codes, and an honor system the writing makes him have that human emotional connection and makes the audience want to root for him.
The cinematography of the alien planet where the movie takes place looks amazing as well, even more so having watched it in IMAX. If you are a fan of the Predator universe or Alien for that matter I recommend watching this movie.
just got to my seat. let’s do this
movie was terrible.
predator fans: prepare to be disappointed. this movie made the 2018 look GOOD. and we all know what happened there. anyways, here is a spoiler free review:
it’s a classic disney movie. pathetic attempts at humor, thia is pretty much a female C-3PO, and dek chucks all the yautja code out the window. in short, everything is corny as hell. i’ll give it to the producers that the action scenes are pretty good, but the story is just unfathomably terrible. it’s a happy story about bonding and family where everyone is happy in the end.
i will say though…the VERY end was a surprise. but that unfortunately sets up for a sequel, which will inevitably mean more crap from trachtenberg. what a way to fumble after two good movies.
Just watched it. It was a good movie. The typical runt castaway recycled story we have seen a million times just re-told from a quasy yautja culture perspective. Nothing about trans/race/woke shit people talk about.
Dude was a “disgrace” to his family so he goes above and beyond to prove them wrong and exert revenge upon those who “wronged him”.
Action and effects were good. Plot was meh, but is not like any predator movie has had a tremendous plot.
Enjoyable to watch, 7/10 seems to be a good rating. Would certainly watch again but not at the theater
I’m debating on checking it out in cinema, or waiting for it to be available on stream. I mean, setting myself back a tenner and 50p each on myself and the missus to ease our curiosity isn’t gonna kill me. Hmm…
On the big screen it has added value, the effect are very good and the visuals spectacular. Even if you might not like it a lot at least that way could give you something more.
LOL 😂
Watching any movie worth watching in a cinema at least one time is always a good thing. At least if you have access to a guaranteed pleasant experience. I go to Alamo Drafthouse here in Texas, where people who talk, text, etc. during the movie are kicked out, and no children are allowed (except in certain screenings tailored for children). It ain’t cheap, so I usually reserve visiting the theater just for specific movies I would not want to miss in the theater.
I watched it in HDR by Barco and it was definitely a very good visual experience.
