On the big screen it has added value, the effect are very good and the visuals spectacular. Even if you might not like it a lot at least that way could give you something more.

Watching any movie worth watching in a cinema at least one time is always a good thing. At least if you have access to a guaranteed pleasant experience. I go to Alamo Drafthouse here in Texas, where people who talk, text, etc. during the movie are kicked out, and no children are allowed (except in certain screenings tailored for children). It ain’t cheap, so I usually reserve visiting the theater just for specific movies I would not want to miss in the theater.
I watched it in HDR by Barco and it was definitely a very good visual experience.

ok here’s a better review after doing some more critical thinking about the movie
first 20 min were good. thia ruined the movie by yapping too much. too much humor for a predator movie. instead of a badass, mysterious alien with advanced weaponry slaughtering other aliens, we got a touchy feely alien who’s journey is about friendship and exploring his feelings. franchise literally got the balls cut off of it. “disney-fied” if you will. i will give it to them that the action scenes were decent and the soundtrack was pretty good, but other than that, this was just not a good predator movie. 2/5 stars.

Just watched the movie, would give it a 6.5/10. Very disappointing.
They humanised the predator way too much and made Dek seem kinda goofy and way too similar to humans. Lots of cheesy and cliche moments in the movie.
Predator: Concrete Jungle was the perfect way to showcase the pred as a protagonist character. That game didn’t make the pred into some goofy, human-like character.
Edit: Prey and Killer of Killers was a lot better than this movie
