Predator Hunting Ground Battle Royal idea

Hey Illfonic, How are y’all doing today? I’m just here to spill out these ideas that been stuck in my mind for a little while now. I was re watching Predators movie and I always thought that movie was like a battle royal-ish Type theme. So I was thinking that having Battle Royal in Predator Hunting Grounds would be a great idea & also it will help bring more players + Longevity. Even though you most likely have to put the game free play but there ways to make Profit from that look at Warzone for example a Battle pass & cosmetics. As long if it doesn’t ruin the gameplay . For the map Theme it should be in the same planet from Predators with run down buildings kinda like a Last Of Us type theme for the environment. Here a list of things you should implement if y’all actually do it.

  1. 100-150 Players
  2. Have option For solo,duo,trio,quads
  3. Solo Have random pick predator, Duos have a random pick team that are predators, Same as trio and quads.
  4. Human & predators both get affected if there outside the circle so it creates a even playing field and Intensify gameplay.
  5. Night mode, to create suspense and fear
  6. Free updates should be consistent of new maps, other game modes, More options to customize your fire team and predator, guns, etc.
  7. Battle pass should be season type theme for example: Season 1 should be all theme base of Predators movie.
  8. Have like Pubg type of loot where you build upon your weapon you found and choose to stick with and find parts for your weapon.
  9. If a predator dies there no revive. And for the humans they have can revived they just pick up a there dog tag and take to a certain station.
  10. Have Predator Hunting Grounds in all platforms. (I don’t know how long y’all exclusive deal with Sony & Epicgames are but hopefully it’s a temporary short one)
    Hopefully you see this idea and one day take this as consideration. Me and everyone who supports this game are willing to help donate for a battle royal.

This game can barely handle the number of players it has

100 players is impossible

Battle royale would be a good idea though as it is very popular

A lot of warzone players would try it

Especially if it was free

Only problem would be if it was better than hunt

maybe it could be like Wolrd of Warcrap except extremely slower paced. Like dice roll board game…NO.

I’m all for a battle royale mode, but the size of the map remain the same. (No closing circle)

The preds are armed with more than enough to find camping players.

I agree having choice in the amount of people you squad up with would be fun. Pred and Ft.

Think a similar BR idea mirroring the Predators (2010) movie was brought up earlier in the forum.

3 preds 10 ish FT spread across an island preserve for Hunting preds. Preds and FT are dropped in with minimal amounts of gear and such and must find it scattered throughout the hunting ground? Preds get dogs. River ghosts are the new AI. (Only a few of em cause they are fucking scary). Or other alien like species to expand the lore.

Would be fun.

Hell they could take each pred plot (predator, predator 2 and predators) and turn each movie into a game mode.

I think there should be a battlepass regardless of a BR mode but it shouldn’t be timed.

They should be available permanently with the drawback that you can only work on one at a time.

As for a BR only if it’s really unique. I don’t want a generic BR with Pred.

lol 100 players chill. Not Fortnite, but hear me out - Escape from Tarkov or Hunt:Showdown. No shrinking circle bs.
Drop in a Predators sized group and a couple preds that can fight eachother and you’re good.

BR with focus on stealth, incentivize killing others for their weapons, loot, and extraction keys. Preds get the most points for killing the most violent pvp oriented players and other preds, encourages leaving the low profile players alone until they rack up points or join a big enough group to become a threat. Proximity chat and waving. Moving in a group steadily increases how much xp you’re worth making you a high priority target for other players. I’d go as far as to say introduce a comms perk that when levelled allows you to designate a randoms as group members by waving at them and they wave back.

Gamemode requires more pred vs pred specific weaponry/gear ofc, most of the stuff pred has right now is only good for killing humans. Alternatively, silenced weapons & mud/ghillies/thermal suits are most effective for FT in this mode but weapons in general have more bloom/recoil + headshots are kills. Long claims are worth huge points towards leveling your pred, especially on other preds so theres a reason to actually use them. Preds can acquire other preds gear. Humans can drop eachother weapons. FT has to extract via pred ship or survive the round in a Shelter once the timers over in 30 minutes. Pred ship extract method can only hold so many players, the rest have to find shelters. This should split up teams of 10+ FT.

Preds need to survive with limited medkits and no pigs, functionally they’re like playable map bosses though provided the preds levelled enough. Preds don’t have shelters so you can hunt them until the timers out. Self destruct, perks, more vision modes, weapons, etc are unlocked via surviving round timers and leaving with a nice amount of xp or until everyone else is dead. Environmental map traps become available once the first ship has extracted or half the humans on the map are dead to give the remaining players an edge and slow the game down.

Kind of like how stealthy Escape from Tarkov is and how you can get in and get out just scavenging without killing anyone if you want the high tension experience of playing stealthily and not losing your loot but getting less xp than the people playing aggressively.
Also same sort of Tarkov death mechanics where perks and guns can be lost and you upgrade your characters by surviving.
