I got some interesting results so far. Berserker still had nearly 5 min of recharge time, but Scar only had about 3 min 20 seconds. But Impatient reduced berserker’s recharge time to only 2 min 20 seconds. Different predators might have different recharge times. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

So what is the situation with Impatience?
Each Predator now has different time limits?

It seems to only be Berserker. Every other class I’ve tested now has 3 min 20 second second wind with impatient bringing that down to 2 min 20 seconds.

I don’t think there’s ever been a dev team so out of touch with their game as Illfonic is with PHG. This is unreal

Yea I thought predators finally got good buffs with the armor feature. But after hearing about all these shadow nerfs, its like… Why???

its not that good, they only take one more sniper shot on body and their weapons are nerfed

That’s really just a problem with the sawz50. They should reverse the damage nerfs on the QR-4, G-ROW, and AR-W and buff the range on the GOSL and QR-4, then reduce the damage of the SAWZ-50 by 20%. After all of those changes, most weapons will be weak enough to give the predator a chance while still each having there own effective niche to fit a chosen play style.

But the fact that the base damage of the SAWZ50 is 252 while the highest damaging Shotgun is 246 at point blank range should be clear as day that the SAWZ50 is way too powerful.

I can’t entirely agree.

Sawz doesn’t need further damage nerfs. It should be a high-risk, high-reward rifle. 7 shots to the body for the kill is fine. The only problem I currently see with this gun is that it can knock your mask off in 2 shots. I would simply limit the amount to one per lobby.

The current problem is that people use tanky classes that simply can’t be killed like Dante. Imho pred should not be able to tank multiple fireteam shooting at him at the same time.

Buff the damage of the ranged weapons for pred and nerf tanky characters and perks that make them tanky, like thick skin. Remove or nerf the tracker, FM spec and the passive damage reduction for support.

I understand where you’re coming from, but is it’s current form, the firerate and ammo would need to be reduced to awardly low levels to be ā€œHigh risk.ā€

Also, everyone can see how quickly automatic weapons rip through predator health. Then you have one weapon that does nearly the equivalent 6 hits from the strongest assault rifles at point blank range, with only a 10% decrease in damage 100m away.

I’m sorry, but sawz50 single shot damage is a huge part of the problem with the imbalance of the Fireteam over the Predator.

Dante’s extreme health and sprint damage reduction is another. He should have base 150 health.
