Predators were hunting humans for years because humanity is not only one of the few species close to Predator level of intelligence but the Aincents were taught the way of the hunt by them in a ritual to cultivate the perfect prey.
But as humanity grew complacent and lazy they saw them as weak and the Original Predator underestimated them because of that.
But Dutch is resourceful and determined not to mention a harden solider who saved his entire team before.
The point is there are still humans that haven’t lost the tenacity to match a Predator and Duch is one of those few.
Believing in the movies we really don’t have any good Predator movies with an experienced Hunter most of emergency Youngblood’s got to go to the comics for the good stuff lol

In real life there are stories of mortals facing much worse and much stronger than the Predators.
He beat the Pred fair and square not with brawn but with brains which happens all the time, brains will always win over brawn.

Humanity was sentient, creative and capable of producing powerful warriors when the Predators first came to earth.
That was all that was needed, then they taught them their ways and left them to improve but they didn’t.
Now only few can match them and its thanks to Dutch proving that to the Preds don’t just nuke the planet and start over.

Like I said previously all these movies we have about them now are not highly skilled predators the only one we did have was Alien versus Predator requiem and the ending sucked and Predator 2 an Alien versus Predator from 2005 or 6 I believe we’re the only two movies that showed Elder predators other than that we have no movies that shows the real thing unfortunately we have to go to the comics for that

The current predator we have in the game is already OP by its own definition.
There is no chance a single FT will solo predator, as long as that predator isn’t brain dead.
You have much higher damage output (burst), bigger health pool, better mobility and more advanced tools to track and bait. On top of that, third person vs. first person.
If you rush in meleeing like a pissed off bitchy, angsty teenager girl on her period you will get slapped in the head and will Fall to the floor, smashing your silly head.

Speaking of gameplay I get that people wanted to come live out their power fantasies playing as predator but think it through.

No I’m saying he beat that Predator fair and square and canonically speaking Duch proved to the Yautja there are still worthy warriors among humanity, when they were considering nuking the the planet and starting over after they saw what became of the human race despite what they gave them centuries ago.
Also I double checked, the original Predator was not a Youngblood he was a full fledged hunter that decided to stay on earth for over 20 years searching for worthy prey and was about to leave and give the nuke signal until Duch showed up.
