Predator: Killer of Killers Review (Spoilers)

Alright just finished watching the movie and the verdict is…

It was a blast!

It’s pretty much non stop action with minimal filler

The fight choreography was top notch

Predator designs are unique; much better than just having a bunch of jungle hunter clones

Do all the Predator’s die? Yes. One even by a woman; and the frail defense of that’s not realistic in a movie about alien hunter’s just doesn’t work

I was surprised that there was a fourth act with all the characters fighting in a Predator fucking colosseum and even more surprised to find that Naru had been captured as well

All in all I give it a 4/5

My biggest gripe was that the animation had that low fps vibe like into the spider verse and TMNT mutant mayhem

I can’t wait to add the figures to my collection once they come out

The most interesting thing to me though was that Marc Toberoff was involved in the film

Why’s that interesting? Well because he also is part of Horror Inc - the co-owners of Friday the 13th which means there’s a chance for Predator vs Jason fucking Voorhees!!

Anyhow that’s all I have to say

If you don’t like the movie you can suck it

Well makes me a lil optimistic, but i do have a question lol why do ppl claim that ppl who dont like all these design changes automatically mean we want cloned jungle hunters? I think most were clear in sayin predator design changes dont mean ppl want jungle hunter cut outs but literally every predator in all mediums are based of winstons so they had differences. Jus had to ask cus that hinestly irks me when ppl try to minimize the sentiment that were tired of constant design changes. Anyway dont wanna harp on that too much, but im a lil more excited to get off work and see it

my review:

certainly an interesting take on the predator universe. we got to see more of (presumed) Yautja Prime, along with some of their language and customs. predators are capable of speaking fluently, as proven by the warlord elder.

naru has been captured and frozen in cryosleep. i thought that was really cool, because now we know what happened to her and we have a little more story behind the flintlock pistol, which also made a clever appearance.

am i slightly pissed that all three hunters died? yeah, but i think that dan made it work with the predators 2010 idea of kidnapping the worthy and pitting them in combat. ninja predator was awesome, id always been imaging a predator with grappling hooks. super badass. warlord elder was pretty sweet as well, he really gave off the “i’m gonna kick your ass and you can’t do anything about it” vibe. but once again…no female Yautja.

overall, 8/10. a fine addition to the universe of Predator.

I genuinely don’t like the look and the underlying premise behind the whole geonosian arena shit
Like, it is just so campy in a bad way, and I genuinely don’t like when preds are portrayed as just Trandoshians from SW, like noble savages that only care about hunt
And 8 do think we need to tone down the amount of skull and bones in Pred design
Like, please, don’t actually show Predator worlds or anything like that, I genuinely don’t think it’s something anyone really wants to see: look at Alien prequels

People cried harder than most 'cause Predators in the trailer didn’t look like JH. I guess those people only saw the first Predator movie.

Back to the Killer Of Killers.

I think it was great and it looks like interlude to the upcoming movie. I liked all three stories in it.

Pilot Pred had some interesting gear to say the least. When I saw the net that trapped the whole plane and shredded it to pieces, I was like, woah, that’s cool!

My favorite one was probably the Japanese story about two brothers.

All three Predators are different types , Zerker, Hunter and the third one, the pilot, was unique in it’s own way.

For people that watched it, in the end, we can see, lots of different warriors in pods, second one looks like a male human with shaved head, I wonder who that might be?

It would be cool if it was Royce, but then again, I doubt it. Third one was Naru, so we know what happened to her in the end.

i don’t think it could be royce, because the isabelle tapes in PHG said that predators gave him armor and he fled the game preserve
